I live in Indiana and watch this series even today. It is the 360 GLSS series out of Michigan and most of these guys still race today. They put on a good show. Still sportsmanship on #4 is unjustified, racing is racing!
Glad to see the crowd! Sadly, the two nearest tracks to me have closed in the last decade. My dad raced modifieds in the 80s when I was a kid. Best memories as a kid were weekends at the track and afternoons exploring the junk yard that sponsored him while they worked on the car.
When that guys career is over and he's never made not one mistake then he can kick cars. Until then get over it. You will do the same thing to people many times. Its dirt track racing.
Dudes already a lap down and tries to block the dude running second. Absolutely has the right to be pissed off. Regardless of it it was accidental or not, if you already a lap down get the fuck out of the way.
When you are out there racing, stuff happens and tha drivers know this so for him to go over to the other driver and say a few choice words is ok but for him to kick the front wing like he did isn't ok. That's a poor sport and who likes a poor sport. I sure don't. He has anger issues and if he can't control it himself, go seek help. That was totally uncalled for. Because sh.. happens
That was just racing nobody's fault. That little punk in the black car should be suspended for damaging the others front wrong or at least a fine. Every driver thinks it's the other drivers fault.
Pretty good show of sportsmanship. I remember a sprintcar race up in Plymouth WI, at the Sheboygan County Fairgrounds a few years ago. A dude in a sprintcar crashed ( no one around him during the race) into the guardrail coming out of turn 4 facing the grandstands. He climbs out of the car, & the crowd was cheering that he was O.K. He slams his helmet into the dirt, & proceeds to flip off the crowd with his finger. He even picked up a couple rocks & threw at the spectators in the stands. That's when he was escorted out of the track, & he was banned from ever racing there again. Yea, I know these guys have a lot of moola stuck in their chariots, but no excuse for bad behavior. This accident was a racing accident. Nobodies fault.
That reminds me of a guy we called Jr. Jr.. at Lakeside in KCK. His parents were alkies and he's a brick shy because of it and raced a street stock. I saw him run right up the ass of the guy in front of him going into one (without even attempting to make the corner) and about total both cars. He never let off. A week later he told me his car was overheating and he was so pissed off he wrecked both of them intentionally. They're out there. It goes to show if you can't afford situations like that, stay in the stands.
@@jedbodinebaseball130 No he did not we were both at fault I understand its racing and that I was a lapped car, not to make excuses but it was only my 4th time in a car at 15 years old but I feel he stepped out of line
Black car was lapping him. Orange car should have seen him on corner exit because the black car was already slighly ahead and he went fromthe bottom to the top into him. You don't change your line when getting lapped, period.
The orange car got loose and it whipped back on him. He tried to pull it back down but couldn't in time to avoid getting together with the black car. The driver of the black car got a bad deal but he knew what his chances were when he strapped in. He just lost his cool and looked like a fool.
He's pissed because he didn't win the race. That's what you call a sore loser. There wasn't nothing wrong with his car until he aimed at the orange car in the infield, & smashed into his front end. That's plain & simple a sore loser. His excuse will always be to point the finger the other way & start whining. Years ago we had a name for that. It was called "Being A Pussy". You can not say that today because some people are offended by it. I don't care. The driver of the Blck car is a "Pussy". LOL
@@philsmidwestclassiccars150 It was a racing incident and the black car did have damage look closely as he rolls down track the right front tyre is dragging sidewards he didnt turn into the orange car in my opinion he went straight down track with very little if any steering kicking the wing was a dick move for sure and he should be banned but everything b4 that ive seen 100 times its just a racing incident
@@jasonh7726 accidents happen. He was very loose. He had nothing to gain by wrecking them both. Seem so many wrecks that blew my mind. When one gets upset when in fact both their nights are runied.
It was the orange cars fault, he cut across the track from the inside line and stuffed the guy straight into the fence who was lapping him, for no reason... The guy in the orange car was probably very embarrassed and apologized back in the pits... Clearly you don't know much about racing... You seem to be an expert on sabotage and vandalism however.. 🤔
This is why I don't go to my local oval track anymore. I enjoy 1/4 mile racing more. There is nothing like a pair of 10,000 horse power top fuel cars launching off the x-mas tree an running over 300mph in 1320 ft.
