Small tip for anyone thats a noob and feels like they get read a lot. A lot of beginners tend to directional air dodge towards center stage. Stop doing that so often. Obviously you wanna mix it up, and every every situation is different, but more often then not, a directional air dodge towards center stage is easily read, because the more center on stage you are, the safer you naturally feel. So natural instinct while in disadvantage is to direction air dodge that way. Better players know this. Stop doing it except for just mixups lol
