This is basically how Dune shields are beaten in regards to the APS here. The petard is so slow that the APS simply won't try to stop it, just like how those shields won't block an object traveling slow enough against it.

It because the APS pulse Doppler Radar cannot track very slow moving targets due to false alarm rates. A Bird flying past could trigger the APS needlessly and so the speed range is gated. This is also why MAWS struggles to react to Spikes and QD502 missiles as they again are too slow at 180ms and 200ms. I suspect Phalanx CIWS would also have this issue vs drones however having the FLIR Camera as part of Block 1B would mitigate the problem I suggest 2 more tests...the KF41 has an extremely fast reacting Hull mounted APS, then 2S38 Prox fuse rounds vs Petard to see if they have any effect

So then in theory, the Type 60 ATM is the only ATGM tank that you can use to get kills on MBT's with APS, since its muzzle velocity is 60m/secs
