But the stat desc show the 61 has more pen than the 66, the ricochet chance are the same too, and the 66 has less velocity. How is it better? I never use the vehicle so i wouldn't know. it's like that weird stock grind for the t1e1 that you research a worse round when you already got the good one by default

@@icecoldcoal4084 the ricochet chance is the same since the angle goes past 60°. m/66 has slightly more pen at 60° than m/61, but to be honest, it isn't worth it. Just stay with the m/61. m/61 pens 358mm at 10 meters, 0° angle, it pens more than m/66. But at 10 meters, 60° angle, m/66 pens a bit more than the m/61. Now, when it comes to why it has better penetration when the round is slower, i don't really know. I'm not that good at physics.

@@RockyArmor idk maybe its like a skipping a rock ig, the more faster it goes the higher chance of ricochet it has. But idk either im just a slave to the snail. And I don't understand why it has less pen but costs so much SL for a worst round, it's not like it has more spalling damage from what i see at the rnd image.

That's because the first round has better penetration on plates that are at 0°, for example: a Tiger's mantlet. But when it comes to penetrating armor at an angle it performs worse. The second round has less pen at 0° but out-performs the first one when it comes to penetrating plates at 30 or 60°. At these br's always check how much it can pen at an angle instead of how much it can pen at 0°.
