Well, I made this recipe and was plesantly surprised, I followed the steps to the "T" and it came out very good, the flavour was superb, the density was exactly how I thought it would be, the only isue I had was that the baking time for me was a little more longer, as you know...every oven is different, I did 325° the first 5 minutes, then amped it up to 350° for 40 minutes, but still the bottom was a little bit moist....had to put back in oven for a little bit more. Recipe highly recommended....will make it over and over again. Thanks Jerene's eat's.....apreciate.
Jerene, I surely enjoyed your recipe, this one's a keeper, thanks for your patience, thanks for sharing, gonna try it out for the weekend. Quick question, after brushing loaf top with olive oil before baking, is it OK to also brush on the butter ??? Or it's either one or the other. Thanks for your kind regards, blessings to U and your family. 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
I just made it and it was very tasty! But mine came out not very dense…it came out like a soft version of hardo bread…almost like a sandwich bread…I was confused about whether I was supposed to use BOTH milk and water or if you just used your milk like in the video….I ended up using both and my dough was still a little sticky so i ended up adding more flour to the dough while in the mixer…..please clarify! Otherwise its a very very tasty bread and I want to try it again! :)
Also...even though it is hardo bread. All hardo breads are soft when just made 😄 especially if slightly warm. However as it sits for a day or more, you will notice that it is NOT as soft as sandwich bread. Anyhow, thanks for the feedback! Totally forgot to tell you guys the water and milk were both in that cup 😄
Love it. Can you use bread flour and if you do use bread flour do you have to use yeast in it? Can you use the dough mixer to mix the bread flour? I want to make it this weekend
Girl you did this! Do you have the recipe written yet? I don’t see it in the description box like you always do….and do you use unsalted butter? Does it have to be Canola oil?
