Remove your Shocks. Lower the fender down to where the closest thing (bolts, wires, etc.) under the fender is 3/8" away from a new tire. Remember, as you go faster, the tire gets bigger around, that is the reason for leaving the 3/8" gap. Then measure from the center of the top shock bolt hole to the center of the bottom shock bolt hole. That will let you know what size Beefy Strut to get. IF you want to go lower, identify any bolts, wires or other protrusions on the underside of your fender, and reduce how much it is protruding. Either by getting shorter bolts, re-routing your wires, or whatever other creative way you come up with to increase clearance. You will be fine if you are running the stock tire and tucked the RBT wires well, along the side of the fender. If you are not sure if you did, get the 10.5" Beefy Struts.

They come in a variety of lengths, and the holes for the bolts are 1/2" diameter. You can see them all right here- www.dkcustomproducts.com/struts-c55-125.htm I do not know what sized bolts are used on a Vulcan...but if they are 1/2", then one of those lengths should work for you. 👍

There is a reason they discontinued their Made In Taiwan Struts. We have no plans to go down the same path.

@@DKCustomProducts I meant like the design of it give it a form like make it pretty for the eye lol.

@@sanderpena We've talked over the years about dressing them up, giving them a little design. That would add to the cost, and most are looking for clean sleek lines AND for an Inexpensive hardtail option. Still you make the same point we have discussed many times and may still do at some point. Thank you!

You know how things roll around...we have thousands that are making their bikes their own that like this style.

If it uses 1/2" bolts, that is what the Beefy Struts use. As far as length, we are not familiar with Vulcans at all, but you can measure your bike and see what length will work for you.
