Good class! Enjoyed it. The sawmills seem to be becoming more and more picky about the logs they will accept in the Southern Middle Tennessee area (the few that are still running). What in your opinion is the best market for hardwood logs with defects.

Lumber mills will accept logs with defects, however they will reject logs if they have too many defects, especially if the logs are small. In that case, send those logs to the RR tie mills. Markets are still good for ties. Otherwise, pallet mills will accept them.
