Same, Hardy has done a really smart thing. No doubt they gave the dealers a floor to discount the Zane Pro's at $499 and they're selling all over the place. I bought one as to not pass up a great deal and had I know how good that rod was, I would've paid full price all day. I'm really eyeing the MarksmanZ in 9, can't wait. Hardy is doing GREAT things right now.
But wasnt the zane pro introduced like 2 years ago? I'm sure its somewhat improved , but sometimes Hardy just pour out new models a little bit to fast....here in europe they don't even have spare parts for zephrus anymore! On the other side I contacted Sage, recarding my one 12,6 8wt , and they said that they still can rebuild any parts of it when its needed, and that they still consider it as 'new' not 'legacy'.... ps: i'm not sponsored by far banks or sage....
That’s a great Poseidon score! Of the Trident rod review videos I’ve watched, I can’t recall a score that high. What rods have scored similarly or higher? Thanks!
