Hari Kojima, former host of the "Let's Go Fishing" TV show in Hawaii, was a terrific fisherman and cook, with a genuine, likeable, down to earth personality. I recorded this segment circa 1991, and kept it as a favorite. Harry sadly passed away this week. RIP Hari, and thanks for all the great memories!

One of the best shows. A friend also passed away in 2011 that was a big fan. Harry is great for his culinary tastes but also knife skills. very good.

One of my favourite shows to watch '74-'76 And I don't even like fish! That's how good Bruce and Hari were. Hope the two of them will be entertaining 'em up in heaven.

oh, believe it or not, he is japanese. the most tan japanese i ever saw without the lobster tan, but he is in hawaii.

That is a gross farm raised Atlantic salmon, as a 30+ yr commercial fisherman I'm shocked hawaiians like salmon so much considering it's not found anywhere near hawaii 😂😂

Personally I prefer wild caught Sockeye from Alaska, but it’s expensive. polynesia.com/blog/eat-polynesia-lomi-lomi-salmon
