The newest car I was able to identify is a 1988 or 1989. Notice the UPS truck looks like a late 80's model. Also, dollar stores did not exist in the 80's. They were called bargain stores. Dollar stores started coming in in the 90's. This could be the late 80's. Maybe 88, or 89.

I think between all the commenters we were able to identify the era fairly accurately enough. Incidentally, it's about what you would find for outdoor scenery from the third season of Seinfeld! Yepp, we are that old now!

I don’t think this is the 80s. I was born in the 80s. A lot of the stores I see here are stores I saw as a kid in the early 1990s.

His pictures are placed on a public sidewalk in front of private property, and the videographer is on the sidewalk and doesn't need his permission... Did the artist get permission to display his art across those storefronts?

People weren't used to being filmed and didn't like it. Not many people had digital video cameras so it stood out esp if you were doing something illegal (he had no permit). The two young guys walking by later are icing the camera too.

People notice the camera when on the street. It wasn't common to see people filming things. The Street vendor told them to stop.
