I 100% agree, but it was just a little bit of fun, he has progressed a lot but needs to work on his balance, trot posting, and his 2 point and eventually I think he'll have to stop screaming on Cloudy (my opinion)
Where do you see improvement I wonder... I'm sorry for Cloudy, the way that boy is bumping around on his back. Honestly I don't think Harlen is either talentend or interested in riding - why does he have to do it?
Harlen looks so happy when he jumped. Even though I don’t think he is ready to jump it gives him something to look forward to and then he will work hard so he can do it by himself
I don’t think he should be jumping, he barely can post and his eq is barley right, and his jumping poison is not that good yes he is young, but he’s not even close to being able to jump. Ps he’s being lead around so even more of a reason he should not be jumping
also, i cant believe how far you and harlen have come harlow! you two are getting so good at riding i cant believe it awesome work and i love your channel X
For me, its easier with shorter stirrups and for some long is easier. Its not your choice. Maybe Harlen wants short stirrups. Not to sound harsh at all.
Harlen is doing great! I understand people wanting him to be a more advanced rider before jumping, but when you are teaching kids the most important part is keeping them interested and having fun!
But it’s very unsafe and unfair to both the rider and the horse. A fun way to keep things inter while learning is playing games. At my riding camp. The younger kinds walk around while answering questions about horses. If they get one wrong they half to go into jumping position at the stand or walk or post at the stand or walk. When they get a question right they get to walk or trot around the small circle. This is a very fun way to be tought how to ride.
Harlow your riding has improved so much, your getting so good at it but I don’t think Harlen should be jumping, he screams on the horse and doesn’t know to control it properly, I think he just needs to learn a bit more before doing a jump :)
I’ve been riding for 1 year and still haven’t done a single jump, my trainer says when I get good at the canter I can, meanwhile Harlen is here, barely can trot, jumping a jump.
Shetlands where originally bred to carry fully grown men, it's not about the height it's about the weight and Bea is the right weight so theirs no problem, sheltlands and very strong and can carry more weight than other ponies.
Harlen is improving so much, he just does do some young kids mistakes (screaming and making it obvious that he is scared) but I can’t blame him for that I mean after all he is a kid and he is doing so well for his age :) ❤❤❤ One day he’ll be a great rider!!! 🎉❤
Theese people are so lucky this isent hate or anything but imao Harlan doesn’t appreciate that he has a pony some of us have been saving for years to get a pony and still haven’t reached are goal i just think that he should appreciate it more one more time this is not hate (love the Chanel I’m just saying something that has been bugging me
Harlow you are so good with horses and you're a so good rider❤. And Harlen first jump is good for him he enjoy it you see it. I love your videos❤. Have a great day
I’ve been riding for 6 years and I cant jump, personally I don’t think harlin should be jumping. I know it’s not my choice and I support Chels 1000% but that’s my opinion
Harlow, Harlen and Cloudy and Popcorn are progressing so much! I remember the video where you just bought Cloudy and Popcorn! Loved seeing this video, can’t wait to watch more, early! 😍💗
I really support your channel but I don't think Harland should be jumping over jumps even if they're really small because he can't even hold the reins properly
ok not that its adorable, but the fact that harlen needs to be lead by someone and he is not confident controlling the horse means that he should not be jumping. jumping requires a huge amount of balance and harlen will probably just end up getting hurt, just saying.
It was just for fun he's only been riding a short amont of time, there is nothing wrong with jumping on lead rein it helps children learning to feel safer and have help if they need it, so many children jump when on the lead rein, what's wrong with it?
@@jessicaalice4868 he should at least know how to control the horse before doing a jump, he doesn’t know how to properly do a rising trot and screams and yells on the horses, he shouldn’t be jumping
exactly. Harlen wasn’t ready for the jump in the first place, instead he should practice posting trot. Also he wasn’t balanced and screams when Cloudy trots. Also what bothered me was Harlen riding in shorts.
@@sage1225 calm down Harlen is 5, what do you expect. Children won't learn unless they are having fun. Small children's ponies are use to screaming children. I would hate to see what you think of pony club is you don't like children having a bit of fun and occasionally screaming a little
Harlow and Harlen has improved so much!! So has Cloudy and Popcorn!!! And oh my god!!!! I remember when you guys had like 50k subscribers!! Now you almost have 210k!!! I’m so so proud of u guys and thank you so much for making those super fun and exiting videos!! Love y’all🫶🏻
No hate, but I think Harlen should not be jumping yet. He can't post correctly, yet alone canter. Its not fair to cloudy and its not safe. If he can't ride without anyone next to him then I don't think he should be jumping.
Honestly don’t even know why they bought cloudy. Soon enough Harlow and harlen are going to be too big for him. Or maybe they are going to teach him tricks. When they are too big.
He should definitely be riding in longer pants, and I personally don’t think he should be jumping. He acts like he isn’t comfortable in the saddle yet and isn’t even comfortable around them on the ground. I would just wait a bit longer to have him jumping
@@hettie..deakin8304 the issue is that the saddle can cause sores. That’s why long pants are worn to protect the legs. I do agree that he shouldn’t be jumping, he should be posting independently and at comfortable cantering before jumping.
@@freyaalexander8052she means Harlan is standing there eating watching Harlow get his horse is such a like thought that is kinda irritating for her because harlan just standing there whilst Harlow is doing the work
Hi random questions I Need awnsers lol but the lady should not be ridding a little shetland like it can really damage his spine bigger kids can't but it's not to bad do u garuee?
@Harlow I believe your horse Popcorn has a bit of Arabian in it, a very huge trait they have is needing to be a whisker ahead of the others x lovely horse mine was little too, she was only 14hh ish she jumped 1.5m regularly and approximately 1.8 on occasion..... she knew all dressage including canter pirouettes, piaffe and passage, bar the high end lipizzaner rear, she did rear on command but never fully flicked out, crab arab breeding is hard to see in ordinary horses or ponies on the surface, but their personalities defiantly shine through xxxx
its much easier to learn how to post with shorter stirrups, i think the length of his stirrups are quite nice since it will help give more control on the upper body! usually it gives better stability and support, but i think cloudy being a shetland might also be a factor. im no expert but thats just what i personally think
It's good to see Harlen so confident around Cloudy and getting better around Popcorn. His riding is coming along fairly well too! The "Up Downs" are getting there haha.
It's kind of a pain having 2 horses but being at different yards! You should move Popcorn to cloudy's yard! He has progressed so much and so has Harlow!
@@robprescott5311 True and I respect your opinion, but I think they might start getting him into riding more and actually go to a riding school I don’t know if this is true but it could happen.
