It seems to me that this bass can easily stand next to much more expensive basses, and I think it sounds great not only "for the price", but absolutely great.

I’ll say it again and again: all these features are easily the best to check out any bass. I bought a RSD 5-string despite some harsh reviews based on the great playing and sound samples here. Best decision making videos to check out the sounds of the bass you’re interested in 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Mine is 9.8lbs, but I also have a JP55OP and that one is 8.5lbs, which is pretty good for a 5 string bass especially. So it seems that they vary a lot but they don't seem heavy.

Impressive sounds for the price. What about the comfort and the finish ?

It is comfortable, i wish neck was thinner tho. Finish is open pore, i have sunburst one and looks great.

I have the natural finish. It's textured, feels very 'woody' if that makes sense, unlike a lot of basses that have that super smooth, 'glossy' feel like a lot of fenders and ibanez basses. Doesn't get in the way at all but it's unique.
