Just got another Harley Benton in my studio and this is part of the problem with Harley Benton guitars. Link to the guitar: www.thomann.de/intl/harley_be...
As soon as I heard you playing I just knew what the problem was gonna be. Great review. Superb sounds. I've got to get one of these. I really fancy the SFG version. And the LPB. And the red. And the black.
Got a TE-52 lefty yesterday...neck is USA-grade for sure...in every way, smooth edges, polished, not a single high/low fret. Rest of guitar is par for the budget course. ....even pups are passable but will be getting an upgrade as my CV50's did. Recommend them...hype is real.
I thought you was going to say there’s “no hole in the vintage style split shaft tuners to make string changes easy “,but I like the guitar so much I’ll buy one anyway and live with it 😂😂😂🎸🎸🎸
My first was a TE62 custom ( the lpb dB) absolutely hands down the best playing guitar I've owned, played mainly set neck epis for 25 years. My passion for playing was almost gone untill I got that telecaster. Got a junior, a TE 62 Dakota red and the metallic plum 335 they're all bloody great instruments for the price easily on par with £500 guitars.
This is one I don't have and I was interested to know what the big problem was so I waited and waited and waited and all I could see was that it sounded terrific and you played it very well and then I started to think well the biggest problem with it is that it's black because I've had really bad luck with black guitars from Harley Benton
Got a ja60 vintage white and a dc junior "dirty mustard" in leftie. My mate, who like me has been playing for 40yrs(different class to me) said "No Way" when I told him what I paid. Wanted to leg it with it under his arm.... and he's right handed... Poor f**k.... He's impressed... As am I for what it's worth.. I've bought and played many guitars over 40yrs and the ja60 and dc junior from Harley benton are right up there....
So cool- Great vid amigo! ...and to hear a euro-bro say "God bless you..." does indeed do just that. Thanks for posting. I got my second HB tele (TE-52) on the way and think that I gotta get another one after watching this. mil gracias !!!!!!!!
😂 you're right !! This is a big problem with harley benton😅 if my litlle house wasn't already full of guitars i'd buy every colour of each HB model !! I've got nine HB at the moment..just few in comparison with you😅...they are all beautiful and Play like a dream...never a problem...who cares of the snobs laughting at us ? Long live Harley Benton !! Cheers..
i had the yellow dc junior with p90.... great fun.... my friend absolutely loved it... its sold.. now im going for a hb tele.. they are great for the £.. .. .
"That's insanity" 😂👍 You are right HB Guitars offer incredible value for the money. I own a P90 Goldtop LP and a Parlor Accoustic, both are excellent. I'll get me the blue TE62DB 😍 Thanks for the review, cheers from Germany 👋
i have 2 fusion 3 hh models, both very different though not so much in sound but in feel, both really nice though, i do have a problem with the t62, but it wouldnt be a problem for everyone, i like my guitars to have at least 22 frets, so i would go with the fusion t, but since i already have the fusion 3 with the same pickups, i dont need it
The problem with the Harley Benton TE-62 is that they don't have enough left handed options! Love my shell pink, but I now need a vintage white one, a red one, a black one , a blue one, etc.
Compared to many other manufacturers the lefty HB offering is like heaven. I was waiting for TE62 to come out for us for a long time. And they offered double binding versions as well! My LPB is very good except for the nut. I will sort it out. The only thing to replace are the pots for proper lefty ones. I don't know how they put them out at this price. Puts G&L and Squier to shame on their QC.
Yes, and no. It depends on how you do when you change your strings. I usually change to locking tuners as it makes life so much easier when changing strings. I have used the Harley Benton locking tuners and YES I had to drill but it is worth it.
@@rockpastor I have ordered the TE 25th anniversary Tele I am waiting to see what it is like before getting the ST. I don't own a Harley Benton. What attracted me was the stainless steel frets and quality wilkinson bridge . When your guitars arrive would be good to see you review demo them . All the Best Pete
@@rockpastor Hi There Rockpaster ! I received the Anniversary TE yesterday It's great needs bit more work on action but it looks and sounds awesome ...Looks like I am going to have to get the ST too Happy Easter To you and Yours Pete
It's really an addiction that has to be remedied by getting more of these awfully low priced, good guitars, ... no therapy for that, i'm sure 😏 Nice playing, reverend, like always 🎶👌✌
When I think that a Fender Custom shop costs between 20 and 30 times more than a Harley Benton....but, it is not 20 or 30 times better. It's not at all. Blind test demos are starting to show that the sonic performance of the HBs is starting to shake the Majors on the web....All the snobs go into hiding... :-)) Thanks for your great guitar playing....a real pleasure!
I luv mine too,it's a different model,I was upset with the seller at I e point cause my axe never came and wanted a refund, took forever Lesson learned buy the most expensive shipping option and you will get your guitar, not 6 mo later
Well, you have right to your opinion but I have to disagree with it. Distortion does not cover up the sound. You CAN do a comparison using distortion and hear the difference.
It's a pity that HB doesn't make that color for lefties, it's a discrimination that I don't understand since every day there are more of us who play with the left
