I have been wondering about this seat I’m waiting for my Corbin to see how it goes. But now my ultimate is the winner. Keep the videos coming brother!!!!
I purchased the ASR seat front, passenger & backrest. I have a 2021 CVO sg. It is the most comfortable seat I have had on a touring harley. The main complaint I have is, it sets you back about 1.5 inches. Which stretches my arms almost to a fully locked position. I am 5’9” with a 30” inseam. I am going to a T-bar setup with a kickback. I will see how that works. Other than that, I love the seat and the way it feels & looks. I have approx 200 miles on the seat as of now.
Looks pretty decent! The bike is really looking sharp. Hell of a transformation from the showroom! I sold my extra seats, only the hammock style heated/cooled seat. Love this one. Taller but I can still bend the knees while flat footed at the lights (5’9”). Thought my height would of been more of an issue with it. Added the cable adjust backrest, the mount was too tall and forward, poked the tailbone so I cut it down a bit over an inch, and back about the same. Can’t feel it there, just the backrest. Would love a banana style seat like the old chopper bicycles LOL, not exactly like those but a long flat style. I’ll move back and forth on the seat through the day, I love this hammock seat for that since the moulded support has very soft foam so your range of motion is quite good. @@RealRonTV I know, it sounds ridiculous. LOL. Sometimes I sit on the passenger seat, stretch back, hey if this transition hump wasn’t here, golden!!! Side note, still warm up here in central bc. Normally freezing overnight and even snow by now, taking advantage of the 65-75f weather. Cheers!
Did you get the backrest? I really like the look of this seat and the versatility of being able to take the passenger off. I had a mustang seat on my previous ride and I loved it. This gel technology is new for me and hope it will be has comfortable as the mustang. I don’t think I’m going to be able to wait for you to get back from your Alaska trip….please post another video of your thoughts on the comfort of the seat . RealRon So, I am considering the ASR seat and looking for reviews and ran across your vid. I then noticed that I have the same rear setup as you with the Siouxicide Choppers sissy bar and luggage rack (Navy for mine). I also went with their engine guard as well, however, couldn't help but notice that your saddlebag guards look very similar to the SC stuff. I checked their website and I don't see anything. Are these by SC or someone else?
@@RealRonTV ha! It seems we all have the curiosity and addiction to new parts, seats, and bars.... it's an expensive lifestyle. I have shelves of stuff that I didn't love over the years. I just can't part with that stuff as somewhere in the back of my mind I keep thinking perhaps it will fit on the next bike...or if I change my mind....lol
