No bias. just Pros And Cons sose the ghost tells you what he thinks from motorcycle club to lone wolf no club.

#GHOSTIN the best way to get a Harley-Davidson is used or wrecked in 2016 I bought a 2013 classic that hit a deer the bike had 1900 miles and front end damage. I played $6,000 for it from the Insurance Company. I put in $3,000 to get it on road. I have a bike that would have costed me $20,000 for $9,000

I kept saving up and finally pulled the trigger on my first bike, a Harley Nightster. I’ve wanted a Harley sense a kid so I just wanted to come back and leave a thank you because you helped to reassure me to still choose to go with a Harley like I dreamt of. You inspire many who didn’t have the greatest upbringing and you’re proving that anyone can carve their own road in this crazy life. You’re appreciated, Sose. Remember that. Much love from TN.

My step dad rode a Harley and when I was 9 it was the first time I was up close to a Harley. He had a 79 Wide Glide with a shovel head engine and chrome fish tail exhaust. Loved hearing it start up and take off. He had some friends who where Banditos and other friends who weren’t but rode Harley’s. It was awesome hearing that rumble of Harley’s pulling up to the house and leaving. Especially when there was at least three or four. Been in love with Harley’s ever since. That’s no lie about what you pay for a Harley and customizing it. In 2019 I finally started getting my VA disability and when I got my back pay an 02 Wide Glide with 20k miles on it fell in my lap. It already had shorty pipes, screaming eagle heads, 26” front wheel, and it was murdered out. However, the dude cheated with the murdered out look by just rattle can spray painting black over the chrome. Lol. Like you said, “one part at a time.” and my plane is when it’s time to replace the seals I’ll strip it down and paint it right.

Saw about fifty Bandidos roar by on 60s/70s style choppers and fell in love with that aesthetic. Definitely not the most comfortable or nimble of motorcycles the chopper is, in my opinion the ultimate expression of uniqueness, especially if you build your own!

I’ve owned harleys and loved them, but you’re exactly right. Everything HD is expensive. Building a Honda shadow now and have the 16” apes, custom seats, grips, etc and barely have $2k in it. And honestly I’m as happy with it as any Harley I’ve ever had, don’t sound the same and a little less power than my old dyna. But the cost difference alone makes the Honda an easy favorite daily. Just my opinion

Wanted a bike since I was 5 years old. 50 years later, I finally have one. I'm a very independent person who doesn't need to blend in. Looked at all kinds and after reading, consulting with people/friends and watching great videos LIKE THIS ONE, I settled on an immaculate '07 dyna superglide as my 1st. Does the badge make them twice as expensive ? Yes, but harleys are just constructed better, to me, than their metric counterparts. I'm not giving up on ever having another brand, but this was the right choice as a 1st bike. PS. I know most ppl will start out on a smaller bike, but ever notice how many sportsers are for sale ? Because people upgrade right away. The joy didn't sink in till like my 5th time out. I almost cried, half the reason that I couldn't believe I was riding and the other half was that I should have done this YEARS ago. Thanks for the vid Sose

My first bike was a Kawasaki Vulcan 900 made into a bobber. Fun bike but I always wanted a Harley and when I retired from the Army, I got me 1.A 2017 Softail Breakout 110 CVO Pro-Street FXSE. only 1,250 of these bad boys ever made. I have it blacked out and it's a beast with some enormous torque and a mean rake to it. just my style. It's a black-red fade AKA Scorched Apple. I love that 240mm rear tire. Like you said. I am piecing it together a little bit at a time until it's right where I want it.I keep all the original parts should I ever sell it. the odds of that are slim to none. but you never know. I ride solo and keep to myself. I have had numerous clubs ask me to join but I haven't found a home yet. I am having a new rear fender light installed to replace the stock one. LED lights for the brake and when I am stopped. the regular Breakouts just have a reflector there. those LED lights are nice and every bit of extra lighting I can get I will because I have had way too many close calls with people coming up on me while stopped at a light. With the 2 R/L break lights and the bar lights under the fender I am lit up. Nothing like a Harley Thunder Bike American Muscle. I love your Channel and The way you keep everyone up on the 1%er life style and all the advice. your channel kicks serious A$$.

I agree. My first bike was a yamaha raider 1900. Loved that bike but customizing it was like pulling teeth. You want exhaust you got like 5 to choose from and they're all top dollar. With a HD you want exhaust you got 500 to choose from. I'd also add a big bonus to HD is the dealership network. If you're on a trip and need some help there's always a dealership nearby that will give you a hand.

My first bike was a 2016 Dyna Fat Bob. Got hit on it about a week after owning it. I'm a little bigger of a dude, and it never quite fit me completely. Now I have a Road King and lemme tell you, I think the Road King is a vastly overlooked bike. Big touring chassis and frame, comfortable for bigger dudes, but doesn't have all the extra weight those Road Glides and Street Glides have. Much respect and all love to you Sose.

I owned a 98 fat boy and thought I would be a Harley guy forever. Then I discovered the Suzuki M109R. It's what they call a "muscle cruiser," and I'm in love. I've been looking around for a local club but I don't have my hopes up because I'm not changing my ride for anyone. That may change if I find the PERFECT crew to roll with, but I'm such an oddball that I'm pretty sure I'll be solo forever. I don't find a lot of good company, being a geek that grew up doing dirt. Unless a group is as much about reading psychology and philosophy as they are about getting down, I'm gonna be solo forever. It's a bummer but it's also great knowing where you stand. Much love for the Harley riders, nothing hits that silky feel quite like a Harley. But man, the torque and muscle car look of the M109R is something else.

First bike I have rode was a triumph Bonne and it was a change for sure...next to having an 8yr gap from riding but the second I rode Valkyrie(that's her name) it was smooth and stable. You're spot on about customization. Harley is king there. Are there better motorcycles? Sure, but there's just something about a Harley. I’ve had the pleasure of riding both a street bike and a Harley. In my mind the Harley is more geared towards the rider that is looking for a platform to customize to anything. Clubstyle, bobber, highway cruiser, chopper etc. A Harley holds its value and is American Made. Customizing is similar to modding a car for race or street. With a bike you can do both. And with a Harley it’s more personal. You leave a legacy for your kids to enjoy. You make memories that last forever. 🤟🏽🤟🏽👇🏽👇🏽🔥🔥

Still haven't bought my first bike but it's definitely coming in the near future. I've had a lot of recommendations thrown at me from Vstars to Dyna Wide Glides. I'm 40 years old and 6'6" so I think I could handle the heavier bikes without too much issues, but I have long ass legs so the comfort factor would be my primary focus. But like you said, I'll probably shop around and sit on a few to see if it feels right before buying anything.

yep, you are so right about customizing a harley. i spent over 2 grand getting my 14" ape hangers and then ended up spending it again to upgrade to 16" apes. apes are an expensive upgrade because of the cables and lines. i personally recommend saving your money and getting as much done as possible when you put it in the shop so they only have to tear it apart once. i too have a slim. its still in the shop. waiting on tires! been waiting since october! custom harleys "VICLAS". there's nothing like it. your bike is dope sose. i see your shows and your bike and i get all crazy thinking about how much i miss my bike. hopefully its out of the shop soon

Great video. I love Harley Davidson bikes. I have dreamed all my life to have one. At my older age. and I'm 6ft5 .. I walked into the dealership knowing what I wanted and bought my dream bike. 2022 Reef blue Road Glide limited. and its loaded for a Harley. fun to ride and so comfortable. YOU are right never say never follow your dream even if it takes most your life to get it.

Good video. Only thing I'd say is that I would tend to disagree with you over the Harley-Davidson Sportster on seating. I'm nearly 6ft4 and ride a Harley-Davidson forty-eight and I find the seating position just fine with forward leg controls. In the middle of trying to make it more to my tastes too. Too many of the bigger Harley-Davidson bikes around the road's in Ireland. Sportster is something different and fits well with customisation. Given its 65 years of development. #ghostin

I’m with you man, I just picked up a 08 1200xl Nightster and I’m 6’1” and it’s perfect with forward controls and it came stock 80fpt and 90 something horsepower. I have mine at stage one and plan on a big bore kit and cams. I’ve seen them done similar to mine and they dyno 98 fpt and 105 horsepower and with them weighing 500 pounds instead of 900 they are monsters.

@@humbleservant1294 I've already done a stage 1 kit on my 48. Love that old school bobber sound. Old Sportster before 2021 is one of the last true air cooled Harley-Davidson motorcycles as intended by Harley and the Davidson bros. Afterwards their great build quality and ride well. But unfortunately from the V-ROD onwards their just a water cooled designed porsche. Assembled from a kit in USA or Asia. Just not the same.

All good points, however I’m 6-4 280. I’m a big dude. I have an 87 sportster I built and am always improving I ride it everywhere, I ride in an MC and run it right next to the big twins. Stronger shocks, bigger seat, put bars off an ultra and forward controls, I sit comfortably. Bigger guys just have to make the right mods and a sporty can fit you like a glove

My first bike was a Suzuki marauder, then I moved up to a Honda VTX 1300.. sold it to get my cdl.. 15 years later I bought a used 2019 harley road glide.. absolutely love it. I put 14" KST custom apes on it by myself in the garage using all the stock cables saving myself a couple grand. I have 0 interest in clubs, what made me want a harley is the whole harley aesthetic and the fact that you can customize them relatively easier than all the other brands.. and that harley sound with a catless exhaust and high lift cam really does it too... #ghostin in Phoenix.

I am 55, my first bike, and one of the best ones ever, was a Honda XR75, oh yeah! I got it when I was like 5yrs. A few years later, I painted an old trash can lid to look like Captain America's. I'd put that on my back and go out and ride like crazy in the hills and mountains near Boone NC. I kept that bike for a long time, like 10 years. I had other bikes, motocross racing 80, 100 and 125 bikes. But I loved that little XR, and rode it the most. It reminds me of how my Harleys ride, low down grunt. Maybe that's why I like Harleys so much.

HD is just in my blood, been a fan since I was about 5 years old and been riding a Harley pretty much my entire adult life. In my 20+ years of owning Harleys they've been very reliable in my experience, I've never had a major mechanical issue. The fit and finish on Harleys is also top notch. The cons are that stock Harleys ain't that great. You really need a stage 2 to get a Harley to run like it should. For me it goes beyond just the bike though...it's the history behind it and the fact that for me HD has always symbolized freedom, patriotism and traditional American values. The woke corporate BS from the MoCo lately is just heartbreaking.

I got hooked on wanting a harley when I was 7 years old driving with my parents then heard this loud rumble windows were vibrating and a pack of 20 Harleys flew by me and was 81 MC since that day I was hooked! My first bike was a 2014 cleveland heist 250cc looked like an old hardtail harley peanut tank, was perfect starter bike was good round town but slow as hell on the Hwy would be full throttle just to do 110 km/hr after that got a job at harley Davidson then traded my bike in for a 2012 harley seventy-two sportster which still have then bought 2nd bike a 2003 harley heritage softail #ghostin

Hey man, I really enjoy your videos. Thank you for all the info while being real. Your bike is sick. I love the bars. What are your thoughts on them? I was inspired to buy a Harley because my ex’s father, my daughters grandfather, was a Harley guy. When I started riding, I had to park my bike next to his Harley’s. When he passed away, I took his road king for a ride. It meant a lot to him and it meant a lot to me. Now I also have a road king. I couldn’t be happier.
