My thoughts exactly. This is the bike HD should have put together. I like the Sportglide, but it needed a little more style, and more performance. This bike checks all of those boxes.
The Coast Glide is a triumph. To all those who worked on the bike my sincere congrats and respect for your skills in putting together an amazing and sounding bike. You should make a series as I am sure they would fly out of the showroom. And once again that throaty exhaust sound is just fantastic. Kudos to Matt and your team. An amazing build.
I’m in North Carolina and I LOVE this build you guy knocked it clean outta the park. Harley needs to open there eyes and take notes this is what we want.
Matt you guys nailed it! The Motor Company should go into production with this TODAY! Maybe lower the riser a little and a slight bit of pull back for better low speed control. Again, job WELL DONE!
Great job guys you all knocked the ball out the park once again. I’m from New York City and would definitely purchase that bike. That is definitely a NYC urban assault weapon. Please convince Harley to put that bike into production. NYC definitely approves.
WOW!! Great job Laidlaw's Harley-Davidson team!!! That bike is the perfect mini-touring bike that the Sport Glide should be. With a fairing like this, I would have bought it over my Heritage. I even like the idea of a Bluetooth audio controller with no infotainment screen to help keep production costs down and keeps people interested in moving up to the touring bikes for bigger bags, weight capacity, and the GTS infotainment. There is room for a one up mini-touring option in the Softail lineup. Well done guys!!
Ok you guys knocked it out of the park with this build! Everything about it I like! Plus you did an amazing job on this video loved the areal shots of you all riding! Keep up the great work and as always Ride Safe!
I was trying to figure out how to vote and found the link after "show more". Ya'll did an AMAZING job with this build! I like the styling, the seat, the fairing, the exhaust and everything else but absolutely love the paint job!!! Just like most comments here, I agree HD should take note and run with this in their production line. It would sell as long as they didn't put the price point at $30K, keep it at $18.5K and it will sell. PS - Great filming job on this video.
Well done fellas! After viewing your competition, I feel like you were the only ones that took it seriously! Perfect Cali/Coast bike! Great job! Matt, hopefully your voice will be heard after this competition!
Matt you and your group at Laidlaw's H-D did an Awesome build. I'm 72 years old ride a Road Glide. I've been riding since I was 18. The bike your built, brings back the excitement that myself and others remember. I'm sure if H-D built this we would come :), its time to get a lighter bike, and back to where we came from. I also think if the youth saw us getting away from the big bikes, and back to the hot rods, they will come too H-D should do this bike. I know I want one. Thats why I keep my 80 FXC, its still fun.
Matt I looked at all the bikes and this is the clear winner! Harley Davidson listen up! BUILD THIS BIKE!!! this is everything the sport glide should have been...
Okay Matt just placed my Vote for your awesome build of the CoastGlide !! You got this man, You got this!! Harley needs to add this bike to the Motor Companies Lineup
now that looks like a proper "Sport Glide" dual discs up front sport old school fering!! this is what H-D should have lunch last year!!! well done Boys!! all the Best with the Battle of the Kings!!
Great bike. Didn't expect the wrap around fender on the front. Looks like right from the factory. And this bike is so useful. Tired of all the trailer queens. You did a great job. Voted for you. Hope you win..✌😊
Harley Davidson needs to make this a productions bike! I would say that the Coast Glide is a bike for every occasion not just beach cruising or twisties. Awesome job to everyone involved in building the Coast Glide.
Absolutely stunning , I'm still stuck with me twincam dyna , so to see the M8 customised the way you guys have done is a great tribute to your immagination
You got my vote. Not just because I wanted to support your channel but because it was my clear favorite. Last year I traded my 15 road glide in for the anniversary Heritage, but if something like this had been in the showroom, it would have gone home with me.
Another winner coming from the Laidlaw werks factory...Looks like a good all rounder, cruising the coast and that occasional long distance haul. Keep up the innovation guys. Oh yeah, BTW I voted for your coast Glide, wasn’t even close!
Fellas, this bike is f'ing exactly where H-D should be heading. Like Captain Suburbia said, "HARLEY SHOULD TAKE NOTE!!" This is a sick build!!!! I thought you all were selling them like this and half way thru the vid, I was already considering trading in one of my bikes for one of these.... and orange isn't even my thing. :-) I would totally buy this bike. Well done!!!!
I have to say that is a really cool bike and the video production and editing was as cool as the bike. Just voted for your bike. I looked at all of them and there are some really nice builds, but I think you guys are my choice for what I would want to ride.
I gotta say, man. You guys have always impressed me with your builds, but this one in particular just blows my mind. Great job by the entire crew. I'm putting my vote in for ya' right now and here's hoping you guys win.
Hopefully this bike will wake up the Motor Company! Very beautiful build, it all flows together seamlessly. I Haul Bikes, see a lot of customs, this is top shelf! Good luck!
Great job on upgrading the Sport Glide, I own one. I really like the premise of the build. Getting young tech school students involved in the motorcycle industry. What the Motor Company needs to grow their rider base.
Love the bike! Coast Glide is a great style and you knocked it out of the park with the color scheme! Matt keep them coming and good luck in the competition 👍
Grand Slam FXGTS team. You built the perfect West Coast road bike. I'm heading over to vote. Edit: Even a 53 year old meathead like me was able to register & vote. ;)
