Really enjoyed watching your vid mate. I was about to purchase a 1250 GS and then went to HD to see what they had, feel in love with the Fat Bob and now my wife wants a Nightster too haha! I know they are totally different machines but the Harley just blew me away how it made me feel. Wouldn’t have taken the GS off road anyway! Ride safe 😊
Harleys never really were of interest to me until I started watching a certain Aussie vlogger and he certainly changed my opinion of them. Loved the enthusiasm of the review, thoroughly enjoyed the energy you brought and agree it looks and sounds a great bike. The guy driving the tractor was a disgrace, clearly jumped a red light and unfortunately it happens far to often these days. I was out on my bike yesterday and caught a red light jumper on camera, and so did the cops because they were also at the lights and it looked like he was busted, so a little bit of karma. I might even post it on RU-vid haha.
I’d never thought of ownership either but I’d definitely have a Fat Bob, it was superb fun. The bloke in the tractor was just obnoxious, I agree, the light was full red, good job there wasn’t someone rushing to cross the road. Thanks for the kind comments, I really appreciate it 👍
I tried the rocket 3 great bike but hated the engine noise fell in love with the fatbob same colour as you tested was getting one last year but illness ment had to wait got the allclear went straight to Harley and bought fatbob done 1600 miles loving it more each time
Hi Jack, Great review this is my first bike which I purchased brand new this year and what a bike it is. You need to be out on one before you make any sort of comment about this particular model. Atb. 👌👍
Beautiful, beautiful, bikes the Fat Bob. It’s my favorite Harley Davidson in terms of styling. It’s the “big twin” softail I was going to buy if I ever traded in my iron 883. Until I rode a Low Rider S 114 and I actually bought that instead, lol. If the LRS hadn’t been so darn perfect, I would absolutely be riding a Fat Bob instead. Who knew🤷🏻♂️? I prefer the colors and badging of some of the older models however, as opposed to the ‘22 models. They did a beautiful, Harley orange one a couple of years back that was just gorgeous!
Great thorough reveiw. Been thinking of one of these...at the moment I have the Sportster 1200 Iron with stage one, Only critisism with that is I need to get my ear plugs in right or it really gets to me and then I dont enjoy the ride...a great way to get Tinnitus so be careful folks. Dont critisise the Panda though that may be all the owner can afford . For cars I will drive any peice of crap and spend the money on a nice motorbike. You dont know someones situation or reason. I may well test ride one of these.😁😁
Great video ... mirrors just turn upside down lol. Fuel 43mpg if you rag it. Normal riding 50 mpg 55mpg i can get 160 before fuel light comes on sticking to the law ish lol ... I was impressed just brought one, where ever you park people will flock to it as it look's different to most Harley-Davidson, sits nice in my garage with my 1250gs and my honda C90 Remember Jack if you open it up HOLD ON as that 100mph comes up so quick
I think I will probably get a cruiser at some point in my life.. I would have one now if I could have 3 stallions in the garage but that ain't happening anytime soon 🤣 Sounds and look lovely.. Good review buddy and you did look cool on it.
Triumph suspension doesn't cut it...good for perfect pavement only. The rear license plate bumper mash up doesn't do the Harley any favours. The M8 Softail Standard/Slim/Heritage are my favs.
Fat Bob to me doesn’t look very Harley Davidson. I love the classic look, so I just purchased me a HD Heritage Classic Softail & wow it’s the smoothest bike I’ve ever owned…
Nice vid pal, I was seriously considering a Harley before I got the GS (amongst many other bikes) decided to go for comfort over cool 😂😂 see thee soon 👍
It would definitely be a second bike but, what a second bike! 🤩👌🏼 Yes, will defo see you soon. Maybe I ought to organise a subs ride? I should almost positively turn up for that 🤔😂👍
@@motomogul I’ve got a nightmare schedule at work at the mo so I didn’t want to get the ticket and not be able to get there for the Friday meet up and ride. I’ll keep an eye on things closer to the date, it’s the end of July isn’t it pal? So I’m a maybe at the mo ( if there are still tickets and I can get away from work) 👍
Torque city, amazing engine, prefer the modern touches with Indians but if I won the lottery I’d have one in the garage alongside my GSA soon to be replaced by a Multistrada. Yes I love twins, proper engines, that’s why I bought the V2 Multi not the V4.
-In regards to your comment about not carrying a pillion, there are t- shirts available that let the world know “ If you can read this, my Bitch must have fallen off” I ride a Triumph.
This would be much better with 18" wheels with the tall & fat rubber than the 16s. Do not like how they did the rear fender with the license plate. Makes it look combinish or farm equipped. I sure hope that H.D. got the sumping problem fixed. For me, this bike needs a lot of chrome and a Candy Apple large silver flake paint job.
I was really surprised at how good this bike was. It was so characterful and cool. The ride was amazing and the sound from those pipes was the cherry on the cake. Well worth a test ride if you’ve never tried one. 👍👍👍😎✌️
