Thank you for these amazing videos, recently purchased my 2024 first harley street glide. Still getting use to it, first thing I changed was my exhaust, went the the Khrome werks slip on. It's alot better , it's not to loud, but alot better than stock, after ridding it for a week, my torque was less off the line, so I ordered so baffles for it and now it's perfect. I'm subscribered and look forward to seeing more videos God bless
I no longer ride big twins, I ride a Versys 650. I lowered it about two inches, taller shield, Led lights, I had the seat modified and recovered, tail tidy, 40mm lower pegs, adjustable kick stand, booster plug and a complete exhaust system because you can't hear this bike even running after about 30 MPH. I don't want it loud just louder than it is. I'm 73 and it works perfect for what i do... I'm healthy and can still ride big twins, I just choose not to...
Definitely function. I have added the heated/cooled seat on my pursuit and lower lights, and taller windshield. Next up is a horn. The stock horn ought to embarrass Indian. That is really my only complaint with the bike. Also on the agenda for down the road are "lizard lights" for fashion (and some visibility at night) and a new heated suit. I am open to suggestions as to which is best. I have had a Tourmaster heated suit since 2008 and only had a few minor problems but given the age, I think it is time for a new heated jacket and gloves.
When I got my '22 Street Glide Special, I think the first thing I got was a taller windshield. Then the stock seat had to go. I'm still working my options on that.
I like both brands, actually many brands of bikes. I have a very bad back and am getting older. I switched from my Ultra to my Road Master because the Indian has a much better ride. I wouldn’t go back unless HD would have a better suspension than Indian. I demoed the Pursuit and that had an even better ride so if I trade that’s what I would get at this time. Enjoy your ride!!
I'd consider trading my 22 Goldwing for this. You've made it look great btw. I'm not sure how my wife would feel about it. Is your wife comfortable? Any major complaints with the backrest and suspension? Thanks for your videos.
My wife was impressed with the suspension upgrade. It it not as smooth as my Indian Roadmaster, but it is much better than the previous generation Street Glide. Longest day so far was 498 miles.
