another great video Kenny , i have Luggage Racks for all my bikes and they definitely come in handy for my long rides.i'll be riding out of Michigan in October hope to see you out at TFA Campout 👍
Back when I had my Sportster, I tied my leather jacket down on the passenger seat. I didn't have a backrest so I had to tie it to the bike. I put on about 200 miles and was headed home and riding down a four lane highway. The bike started to lose power but the motor was not cutting out . I pulled to the side but kept going, and eventually I gained more power and pulled back on to the highway. When I got to the next town I pulled over and looked back. My jacket was still tied but hanging on the side of the bike smoking and wedged between the pulley and belt guard. Let that be a lesson boys and girls. The good news is it only cost me a jacket. Now I have more room on my Fatboy and Ultra Classic and a trailer hitch on both. The trailer works great for going to bike rallies and can turn a trip to town into a ride to town. Don't feel to bad Kenny, my trailers hitches for the Ultra and the Fatboy didn't fit either. I had to make them fit and a lot of bending and twisting was involved and not a good atmosphere for small children. The Luggage rack looks nice. Ride safe deer and cagers suck.
Whoah! Good thing your jacket was the only thing injured, what a story! On my sporty the sissy bar couldn’t keep all my gear upright even with six bungees so I’m very pleased with the Softail luggage rack. Though a trailer hitch opens up a whole new level of options! Thanks for watching!
@@KennyQuestShow Ya I am not sure how many lives I have used up. I should maybe start to worry a little bit because I am not a cat. I have been asked if I have to take a trailer to town why don't I just take the car? I say if I have a trailer, why do I want to take the car? Most of the time you don't even feel the trailer behind you. But don't ever forget that it's back there because gas pumps suck. No I never hit one but somethings you just know.
