When the engineers designed that bike, I don't think they have you in mind. Now the marketing department on the other hand says go nuts and shows you to the parts counter. I beat the snot out of my 890 ADV-R Rally. Dropped it the first day out in the woods. I ride like Chris Burch without his talent. If I get down that way on a BDR I may have to look you up. Good stuff!
You’ve got skill. I’m as good rider as you to take my Pan Am on trails like that but putting knobbies on this summer and seeing what trouble I can get into

Thanks! The suspension does decent in the stiffer offroad+ mode. I rarely bottom out at a typical trail pace. But it happens every once in a while if I ride faster than I can react lol
