Matt!!! I have to say that was a very entertaing and a little cheesy opening act. I am still active over 28 years with the NYPD and I ride a 2017 BMW GSA. I definately love what Harley Davidson did with the Pan America but I truly love your build as a Police bike. I love and enjoy your videos of traveling the West coast and I hope to see more of those type adventures in the future. I spent the entire summer of 2013 in California and I did that ride to Yosemite up 395 and stayed 7 days in Mammoth, making it my base of operations to and from the park. As soon as I retire I am getting myself a Road Glide, I will be buying it out west and riding the coast and then back home to NYC. You are my dealership of choice, so get used to hearing my name. Looks pretty good. I’d go with the top box, leaving the panniers in the garage most of the time from a traffic filtering viewpoint.

What a great concept bike and excellent build. This platform would be ideal for LE. There are numerous places to locate secure storage of shotgun and other LE weapons. Great job Matt and Team.

I would love it if more LE agencies would consider changing back to HD now that the Pan America is here. This could also be good for the secondhand market. There will always be a market for clean, well maintained fleet vehicles!

As any gentleman here in the UK of a certain age brought up on a diet if Saturday evening entertainment and CHiPS, this was an awesome and fun video. Love how versatile this bike is and what you guys are doing over there, hope it is a successful as it deserves :-)

Nicely done. Pro tip: add steady red LED light (non flashing) facing forward. CA title 13 requires it. That bike is guaranteed to get scooped up. Do it now in proto and save someone the headache and loss of labor time to do it later when everything gets crammed with radios, radar, ticket printers etc.

how difficult would it be to remove the fairing and bolt the headlight to the forks? Are the fairing mounts welded to the frame?

Really cool that you guys did this! When I first saw the Pan American I was thinking that LE should take a serious look at this bike. I used to work on LE bikes for AZ State Troopers and what you have is a great jumping off point! Like someone else said the side bags are probably going to be to wide and the rear bag would probably need to be shorter, lastly you need a place for a long rifle. Of course this is all just my opinion, but overall what a great idea! This is just one of the many reasons I'm subscribed to your channel!

I'd love to know what they did with battery and alternator/generator since it's one of the bikes weaknesses. I already switched the battery to Lithium on my bike.

Great bike.. I want one myself. I think it's too tall for use as a police bike though. Plenty of cops out there with short legs.

That was great!! Your really going Hollywood. I think the Pan America would be a great choice for Police plenty of power and off road capabilities. It would be pretty cook if they picked some up for that. You need to add the mounts for a shotgun and AR 15.

Definitely a Police need & market for this bike .

Well Matt, now you can do a border patrol version with night vision and big spot lights and those bags can carry cold water to pass out along with hotel reservations and a free pass to Disney land! Personally, I think the Pan America is absolutely the perfect bike for law enforcement AND those who want break the law as well! Lots of potential for Harley Davidsons new model that was not intended for both sides of the fence! I think you better order more of these bikes!
