I dreamed of owning a Harley one day and didn't want tk settle for a used one. Last year I finally bought a Sportster brand new, zero miles, keep working hard and you will achieve it.
Love it man!! Quick question: do you have trouble seeing out of the right mirror? I bought a new 48 two weeks ago and the cables for the right mirror are in the way and I can't tilt it high enough to see.
man how tall are you. im asking cuz im looking to buy a 2nd hand sportster . im 6ft guy and i already have a 500cc royal enfield cruiser which is little small. i want a big looking bike but i cant think of any bikes other than iron 883 and forty eight. they both look and sound amazing to me
@@gauravchauhan6343 im about 5‘10/5‘11, a little bit shorter then you. I would go to a Harley store and sit on a iron or 48 and take a video of yourself to see how it looks like
His battery is a lower CCA( cold cranking amps) most standard Harley’s are 225 CCAs, this is possibly around 210-215. But if I’m mistaken it can also just be a coooold start👍
Cooles Bike !!!
I eyeballed it and it seems like the front tire should be 150, and the rim probably 3.5". I can't quite tell with the rear tire. For the 48, I think the front tire has the potential to fit a 17/160 specification, and the rim could probably go up to 4.5". That way, you could achieve a visual effect similar to the Sportster S. My current 2010 48 (with wire-spoke rims) has a front tire of 150/3.5" and a rear tire of 180/5.5", which looks pretty good. However, custom fenders are necessary because the stock ones won't fit, neither front nor rear. Regarding what I mentioned earlier, if you want to go for a 160/17/4.5" on the front, it seems like your only option is alloy rims. I haven't seen any 17/4.5"/40-spoke wire rims.
The iron 883 is a different bike to the 48. They look simular but a lot of differences. They both use the same evo block engine, but the iron is 883cc. The front tyres on the 48 are smaller and thicker and has a peanut tank, and it is 1200cc.
