Big fan! I don't own a V-Rod anymore but still enjoy listening/watching channel. Left with my Road King and there are plenty of videos that have helped me through some processes.
Nice job man, those are huge tires. I always liked the vrod, the vrod muscle especially. Harley ahould have kept the vrod and the sportster 1200 in production. Love your channel ma n, always thumbs up every video. I been a sub a long time
Thank you for watching and all your support Michae. That V Rod is a nice ride. The sports that will be missed. I think it's a bad decision on Harley Davidson.
I think you were supposed to install the spacer on the left side of the bike first as it gives a lot of trouble installing once the wheel is in I have been caught out before on this job but regardless you did a great job 👏
Happy to help. Next time I do that, I'll try to do that spacer first, and see how it goes. Thank you for watching and all your support Sam. Rides safe and have a great day.
Great video ,by any chance would you know the size of the spacer that fits between the swing arm and the pulley and also do you have the size of the bearing for the pulley , thanks
Happy to help. I don't know the exact size. Sorry about that, if I was to, 3 inches. The one on the brake calipers side is like 3/8, thick, there is no bearing on the pulley. That's what the spacer does. It makes up the difference so the bearing is in your wheel. Thank you for watching and all your support. The video pretty well shows the Install, any questions just ask. like I said I'm sorry I don't know the exact sizes but I do know there's no bearing in the pulley. The spacer in your pulley. The wheel has the bearing in it. Hope that helps. Thank you for watching and all your support clareman. Ride safe and have a great day.
I have 2013 vrscdx with stock rims. From a mechanics perspective what advice would you give on the install going from 240 to a 260? My mechanic says it won’t fit? I purchased metzeler marathon ultras ME888, these should fit, no? Thank you in advance for your help!
Happy to help. I looked it up. It suggest that it should fit. Thank you for watching and all your support Gary. I'll send you the link. Ride safe and have a great day beautiful motorcycle. www.1130cc.com/threads/260-metzler-rear-tyre.107713/ let us know what you think.
Just recently I got into accident and my front fork tube is bent. Also do have a concern about my lower triple tree is bent. If I got a brand new fork tubes and wanna to make sure everything is perfect condition, what do I need to check
Happy to help. If the Fork tube bent, I would take it apart and see how it slides up into the tree. If there's no resistance, then you did not bend that tree, replace the Fork Tube and you should be all right. That's the weak link when you do get into a front acc. Hopefully you're all right. Thank you for watching and all your support Bobby.. Stay safe out there. Ride safe and have a great day. Any questions just ask.
The V- Rod is a cool and very fast bike. It wasn't traditional Harley-Davidson design, so it didn't catch on. I wonder why Harley is not using that engine design, now that they are moving toward other water cooled engine designs, like the new Revolution engine.
