She also realized what hell he went through that made him who he was and realized that the only difference between him and the others. He chose the otgerside of the coin good over evil.
I like the idea that Bruce's inner self is a child. His nevwr been able to move one from his parent's murder. And i love the idea that Batman as a concept is a child's idea
Because he hates himself that he survived the ordeal. His parents were good people that didnt deserve to die. So, he pretends to be the most competent person to hide the "scared useless child with an inferiority complex" behind a mask.
I absolutely love that Harley Quinn has turned good, became a hero, is now part of the Justice League, & is helping Bruce! I love how she cares for and about him, showing her compassionate side. I love her so much
@@unchaineddemigod794the modern day brainrot to "uwu s0 cute!1!!1" has truly poisoned folks man like I was fine with the all the jokes but this lil bit from the episode was just another point off like man everybody like to preach abt Batman being a billionaire beating up thugs like attempting a one-man cleanup of a whole fuckin city is easy work especially with his moral codes
It is cannon now. The comics show the first meeting between Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman. To lay their cards out, she uses her golden lasso, which compels all to tell the truth. They each take a turn holding the lasso. She says her real name, Superman says he’s Kal-El and when Batman is holding the lasso all he says is “Im Batman”. Bruce died once he became Batman, there is no more Bruce Wayne.
@@DashingPunkSamurai No. She just asked who they are, she never specified their real names. Also that take has always just been disrespectful. He does everything he does because of his parents, him deciding to abandon their name and treat them like they’re not part of him anymore is idiotic and against everything that has ever been canon to Batman.
The reason DC is so desperate to reinvent Harley is because she's their #4 merch seller (behind Supes, Bats, and WW) but her character is basically that of a battered spouse. So DC forsees that as a potential PR problem. That's why they frantically try to recast her as female Deadpool or Ivy's lover. None of it sticks because her core character can't accommodate any of that.
I do like the idea that Bruce's is a child because he's never been able to move past the day of his parent's murder. And the sublety commentary that Batman as a concept is a child's idea of what it means to be a hero.
Like i understand that the show is meant to be funny but I simply dont like how it makes Batman look like a joke He said greedy and incorruptible in the same monologue in reference to himself... Sure nothings wrong with making jokes around Batman but making him the joke just seems wrong for such a serious character
And the jokes aren’t even funny they’re just kinda mean spirited. Like this whole section just feels like the writers taking pot shots at wealthy people for selfish reasons like millionaires can’t be good people.
@@jsmart6430 You realize she said billionaire right? The majority of people in the US actually end up being millionaires due to their asset collection as they age. Billionaires by their nature cannot be anything but evil. You cannot accrue that much wealth without performing morally reprehensible actions and you cannot have that much wealth without actively harming other people by quite literally preventing it from moving through the market. Wealth accumulation is a zero sum game, there is a finite amount of money or else it would have quite literally no value and we'd be living in the weimar republics economy during it's collapse.
@@donjuan9746 I don’t really believe that. I don’t think ones inherent wealth dictates their morality and I find it dangerous to think so. That line of thinking gives people an excuse to do damage and harm thinking they’re hurting some billionaire when really they’re just hurting their communities and the people who live their chasing after people in a world they do not understand. No doubt theres plenty of bad billionaires, Davos has shown us plenty. But hating a man because he has significantly more is not a good way to live either.
Btw for anyone who thinks the ninjas comment was dumb as fuck. Bruce wayne gets the far cry 3 treatment. He joins a group of ninjas desperate because hes lost and fucked after travelling however many years and they know who he is because theyre a global terror organisation and recruit him because hes useful and malleable. Theyre a cult and a super rich victim just walked in. They were grooming him to destroy his own home. Theres a lot of shit you can give bruce wayne since hes rich enough to solve most of his problems but this isnt one of them. Bruce wayne isnt the most powerful person on earth theres lexcorp, the league of assassins and the court of owls. If its within his means bruce wayne does that shit all the fucking time. The point is theres several dogshit takes that happened because they didnt respect the source material. Worst one being giving nora freeze a hoe phase. This was the beta test for velma
yeah thank you..i was thinking this harley is an idiot...i feel she was fine just as a side kick...plus made batman dirty and dr freeze...and ruin a heart warming moment like why do fall? obviously taked from the Nolan movie...he only thing i liked was scarecrow and the just kill him
Bashes batman for being white man with money and writes him to be a prick which doesnt represent the character at all, the dialouge is also super verbose like stfu we do not care.
There's lots of ways to break down and be critical of Batman. I like it when it's done. This is just bad writing by someone that hates Batman. It's disrespectful.
It's the truth. He's a typical depiction of a rich white man with a savior complex. He exhibits upper white societal characteristics. Based on the characteristics of the character, how else would you describe him?
@@Gashshiningstar dude I'm fine with making fun of a character. It's his racial woke bullshit I'm not for. So what he has a rich background. He gives more of himself to help others that Harley by a long shot. He is a way better person than her
I wonder if this show by Harley Quinn is just how her view is everything and it kind of shows that how she feel everything she does is not really in the wrong
The music choice on the short removes the levity this is delivered in the show. Even though it's a comedy, they treat batman with respect. I actually loved the show!
