How does an engine calibration fix aerodynamic issues and road conditions? The weight HD is adding is their band aid. The change in calibration probably will restrict top speed only. Road Glide fairing is placed more forward than Street Glide, so it puts more weight on the front which is what the added ballast (weight) to the SG will do. It's a bullshit fix for a major engineering blunder.

Not surprised since it’s a new model. There’s going to be bugs to work out just like any other new model whether it’s a bike or automobile.

@@stuwhyte479 It always happens with new models whether it’s a motorcycle or automobile. There’s a saying never buy the new model until all the bugs have been worked out. Not sure if you’re familiar with this saying.

Exactly right. There is so much new about this bike, that anyone who didn't expect release problems has no business being an early adopter. Although I've had a few hiccups with my new CVO (Road Glide in my case), I've definitely had a lot fewer than most other new techs I've taken on.

My 23’ CVO RG is on 4th visit to shop for problems. Been at the dealership now for almost a week for this 4th time. Every thing from sticking throttle, slipping clutch , crank no start and this time the bike left me stranded 150 miles away from home, limp mode and check engine light, and the left handlebar controls didn’t work.

I think it could be the air vents on the batwing fairing that are lifting it up making the front wheel contact lighter. Causing instability. Why not simply seal the vent/flap etc rather than add weight to the bike and mess with the power 😢. Where does this fix leave a CVO owner that may want to run the bike on a track. If this remedy is for real, I will not have it done.

Have them check for a bad unit. There have been issues with them.

The 2023 models are still sitting on the shelves at our dealership. They haven't sold one yet. Almost $60,000 Canadian I think you need a brain examination before you buy one of those

What a shame for someone who spends over $40,000.$$ to have a recall within less than a year. Maybe shut down the York Assembly Plant and the ghost of the 2,000 laid off employees are biting the CEO's butt. Just saying.Cin-Cin and Salute 🫡👌🫡👍✌️😮
