Nice. just subscribed I bought two Onyx 7(dark gray, new) for US$100 each direct from HK's website. By the size of the heat sink, I can tell it's using a class D (family) amplifier. I will try also the Dell 20V/5A power supply and will remove the battery to see if I will get more power of of this nice speaker. If I know the amp inside I can check the datasheet see how far we can go after putting a better heatsink.

first day i got the Onyx Studio 8 did not work and its a pain thinking shit i am liking the Onyx Studio 7

also the Onyx Studio 8 will NOT work with the HK software but the Onyx Studio 7 does the Onyx Studio 8 is like a waste of time and money

Hi boss, is it pssible to fix a studio 7 motherboard into a studio 5 chasis will it work? I mean all connectors on studio 6 and 7 boards are identical to that of studio 5 motherboard.
