Yup these speakers are pretty nice and they have been around since the mid 2000's I have the Soundsticks II. If you don't mind the wireless functionality and want them cheaper the Soundsticks III and the older Soundsticks II are pretty much the same speakers with some cosmetic differences.

Compare to logitech z625 2.1 output how powerful are these speakers?

Yes these are great speakers I've been using them (the wired type) for ages, the glue on the sticks has a tendency to unstick but its an easy fix. My only negative comment would be that these are hardly wireless. The only cable they have done away with is the single connection to the headphone output on my Mac Mini.!

I'm wondering if these also have the 3.5 audio jack that I use with my headphones. The Z4 are awesome I'm just tired of them because they lack Bluetooth. Great minds think alike! 😀

I'm listening to your video through a set of those. My friend was about to toss them so I wanted to see what all the fuss was about before he does. The only plus of these is more or less decent sound clarity. But the overall sound quality, however, especially music quality compared to a REAL solid state 7.1 channel 150 Watt x2 Yamaha system fed from an optical cable which I'm using - is UTTER GARBAGE. Would I pay $300 for these? Nope. I wouldn't even pay $5. They have very little bass, too much treble and very treble-ish mid-range. They are hardly better than a 20 Watt portable Bluetooth speaker from a "no name" brand like Sensport, one running from battery!! The trouble with people these days is they don't know what good sound is all about. And no, I'm not a fan of tube amps: in fact tests consistently showed that solid state amps outperformed those on sound quality. However: you cannot create a decent quality with such tiny speakers and utter lack of wood or a material similarly capable of good resonance the way wood is. My advice is: if you value your music and gaming experience: for the same money: get either a decent pair of headphones, or, spend $400 more and buy a decent used solid state amplifier home theatre system. Avoid plastic speaker shells like wild fire! Even particle board speakers generally outperform plastic ones.

I want to say something to let yall people know.. That was an ugly surprise from HK. Audio coming from my iPhone sounds noticeably better than from Mac! I keep my Soundsticks connected to Mac wired.

With any speaker system DO NOT RUN THEM at max volume in there first week of operation otherwise you will risk blowing your equipment best bet is too listen at 1/3 range of volume first week then following week 50 percent volume then third week full Volume. When listening at near Full volume 1 hour at a session 3/4 volume is always a safer bet. With this your equipment will last alot longer and prevent Blowing your speakers on your first week or within the first two days.
