My friend died in combat and I was given his harp. Then I misplaced it!!!! I just now found it. I need to learn so i can honor my great friend.

G doesn;t have the same notes as C...we have the F# note instead of F note ....Am i right?

yes that's right, but if you play a G scale on a C harmonica it is a different mode (mixolydian) than C on a C harmonica (Ionian), so it has the same notes but a different sound/feel to the scale. If you play a G scale on a G harmonica (Ionian) it will have F#.
