Olajuwon didn't even try to jump with Baby Jordan... That's why I still have my 90s Miner Champion authentic jersey

Wish I had one from way back then. I did buy a vintage replica Champion from eBay. Love wearing it.

I love Harold Miner. He had the flash of an MJ but not the same competitive drive. I will always love his highlights.

Saw him play in college quite a bit when he was at USC with Robert Pack. Miner had a lot of game - could also hit threes.

Baby Jordan! Just played 4 years on the NBA, but he could have been a legendary dunker 🤔

Sad that we only saw a “Miner” part of Harold’s career 😞

@@RogerInnamorati Indeed, yet i've some doubts about the legendary dunker stuff, i know he was from another era, but guys like Desmond Mason looked a lot more gifted.

If he didn’t get injured and was given longevity with his athleticism then I think he would have eventually been great. It was stupid of the heat to draft him and not immediately use him. From what I read and seen, he need to be given the ball a lot and was an iso scorer with good handle and quick first step and speed in the fast break. He wasn’t under height for the shooting guard and doesn’t have as much off ball game like spot up shooting etc he could have been good to great at drawing fouls and with his elite athleticism for the era he was in, I think it would be worth the gamble for a franchise to see if he develops into a great player. He did suck at passing, defense and other nba stuff but as long as he can score the ball then he has a chance to be something.

he was out of the league by the time I started watching NBA in the late 90s, but his name always had a mystique. And these dunks are...just not that impressive.

He never played like MJ at all, heck he never even dunked like MJ. Harold Miner was a power dunker like Dominique, MJ was more of a finesse dunker. He only got the Jordan comparisons because he was bald and he liked to dunk a lot.

No no your half right he did not dunk like Jordan but his lay up package was just like Mike. His reverse lay ups were crazy!! And his ability to hang in the air and still score. I watched all Miners game. Every last one.

It was his hang time that somewhat gave him that nickname in college… I remember from watching his games not these highlights
