The dunk on the Pacers had a little message behind it because he was left unprotected in the expansion draft and was taken by Vancouver. He was able to sign with the Lakers for one final season which was a nice way to end a great career.
I always liked Finley's game. In his prime he was an athletic finisher, reliable shooter, and solid defender. No real flaws. Once the Nash-Dirk tandem got going, he unselfishly moved into more of a supporting role, and that extended his career by almost another decade as a smart veteran. Just a really complete basketball player.
Imagine that, there are more people today then there was in 98 and that game is still the mpst viewed game in history... Michael Jordan the GOAT and the Chicago Bulls are the greatest TEAM ever assembled '91 '92 '93, twice '96 '97 '98
LeBron James is the most UNCLUTCH (or should I say UNKLUTCH) superstar OF ALL TIME. 1. He Has Only Made 19 Of 107 Shots In Clutch Situation During His Career: 17.8% FG, 12.5% From 3-Pointers (as defined as 5 mins left in the 4th quarter with the game within 2 possessions). 2. He's 0 for 7 on game-winners in the NBA Finals. 3. HE shoots 31% outside of the paint in the playoffs for his CAREER. 4. He has (by far) the most 4th quarter turnovers in playoff history. 5. He has the most missed FTs in the 4th quarter in playoff HISTORY. 6. He shoots a 65% average at the FT Line for his CAREER in the playoffs in the 4th quarter. 7. He has the the most missed FGs in the 4th quarter in playoff (and Finals) history. 8. LeBron is 10-11 in one possession games in the finals if he was more clutch he would have more chips. 9. 2 BRONZE international medals and he played the MOST MINUTES in the worst loss in Team USA HISTORY (an insane blowout to Puerto Rico). 10. ONLY 19 game winning shots in 21 years full of travels, carries, and Superteams, which gave him more SPACE in those situations than most players ordinarily have, and he STILL couldn't deliver. 11. Getting outperformed in the clutch by Kyrie in his most clutch year: 2016 (kyrie scored more points in clutch time than LeBron and hit the game winning shot after Lebron bricked over and over in the 4th Qtr of Game 7). 12. Most finals and playoff losses 13. Most one possession losses in the NBA Finals (a tell-tell sign of a very UNCLUTCH player). 14. 6 finals losses with superteams while going through the EASIEST Eastern Conference in NBA history (it got so bad the NBA fans started calling them the "LEASTearn Conference"). 15. Under 40% shooting in the clutch in the postseason 16. He has given up three of the ten highest Game Scores in NBA Finals history as a DEFENDER to: Kevin Durant (x2) and Kawhi Leonard. The LeBron system - total domination of the ball. That way, you have a gaudy stat-line. When you win, you did it all by yourself. When you lose? Well, look at those stats! You just didn't have enough help. He isn't the GOAT, but he is the greatest con man to ever play the game. _____________ High IQ = MJ/Kobe Low IQ = LeBalco I could go on and on and on and on. In the 4th quarter of the finals he turns into LEBRICK and the empirical evidence is incontrovertible. 😂😂😂😂😂 MJ > LeBalco Kobe > LeStatPadder
He was as gifted athleticly as anyone who played in the league. Would have loved to see him play more then he did. Shows you the talent it takes to just make it to the highest level.
