I love this movie. They must've done the "aside" clips during the actual filming. I practically have this film memorized. I saw it 14 times the first 2 years it was out.

Great movie, AND great acting ! Who can ask for better than Paul Newman? I sure miss him. Made my senior year in High School . It was a GOOD year all around. MY favorite? The Graduate. I watched it being filmed. The church scene was right across the street from my school. Hell, none of us knew who Dustin Hoffman was!

Pretty PAMELA TIFFIN was like a sweet, PG-rated ANN-MARGRET. Indeed their careers shadowed each other and even overlapped twice when they co-starred together in STATE FAIR (1962) and THE PLEASURE-SEEKERS (1964). Ann-Margret did a racing car movie with ELVIS (VIVA LAS VEGAS/1963). Then Tiffin did one with JAMES DARREN (THE LIVELY SET/1964). Annie would pop-up in A-List films as did Tiffin: HARPER (1966) and THE HALLELUJAH TRAIL (1964). Eventually they both wound up making movies in Italy after their Hollywood careers tanked in the late 60s. Ann-Margret famously returned and made a spectacular comeback. Tiffin stayed in Italy and got married (2 daughters). RIP pretty Pamela.

I'm kind of surprised this was acceptable even back in the '60s, particularly the clips with Pamela Tiffin and Shelley Winters. "Who knows? I might like it." Wow. I also don't think I've ever heard the actor from Nightmare in Wax do the voiceover for a movie before.
