Labour's Harriet Harman today jibed that male politicians have had 'countless babies we don't know about' - sending her fellow MPs into fits of giggles. She was calling for better parental leave for MPs when she appeared to hint that men in Westminster had fathered lots of illegitimate children. Her indelicate remark her parliamentary colleagues into fits of giggles as one MP shouted out 'Who was it?'. Ms Harman, Labour's ex deputy leader, was speaking in a debate calling for MPs to be allowed to nominate another politician to vote for them while they are on paternity leave.
