And oh, by the way, Mexico didn't pay one thin peso. And just this year, he convinced his Republican cronies in Congress not to pass a bi-partisan immigration bill so that the Biden-Harris administration could not claim a victory on that issue. There are more examples, but you get the drift. Why does Trump keep using his Make America Great Again slogan? He should have accomplished that in his first-term presidency. The first time in office, Trump was held back by checks and balances and people willing to push back on his ideas. But he will try to make sure things are different this time. By destroying the checks and balances that are central to our democracy. He has already been granted immunity from prosecution by the Supreme Court and he wants to make it so that the DOJ and the FBI, etc do not have any power to challenge him. He wants to diminish Congress' role to act as a check and balance on the executive branch. Just because he wasn't successful the first time, doesn't mean he won't be successful this time.
