AND wasn't there already an entire 2 hour panel discussion about Gaza earlier this week during the convention. If you are a delegate and still undecided about the candidate that you came to endorse, then WHY did you come there without having a placement on the speaker's podium already agreed to? Everything at the convention is on a schedule (and you got a piece of that with the panel)...but you want to tell the world what most Democrats agree on already. We hear you! And let's be clear, most Dems will push for a two state solution for Palestinians! Harris met with the groups' leaders and has said numerous times that she WILL focus on a 2 state solution. She is just the VP now...what can she actually do! Congress/US has an Israel policy already! Biden held back on distributing weapons and he was threatened with impeachment because Congress had already allocated those funds. Congress is who/where you should be taking your grievance to now and force those Rethuglicans (who are the majority in the house, which is where funds are allocated) to stop the funding and change the policy. When Dems controlled the House, did you take your protest to them then? Obviously not! I understand that this war has highlighted the issues. Lesson Learned: You have to be more proactive in your thinking and strategy. Rethuglicans are in charge of Congress now and they will allow the Gaza/Palestinian people to be destroyed and give ALL the land to Israel/Bebe! So we have to vote them out of office and put in the Dems who will create a new policy towards Israelites and Palestinians and WE Dems will push them and support that! So Protesters/Undecideds should choose wisely in the voting booth. Refusing to vote or voting for a Rethuglican will ONLY give Palestinians more death and destruction, which is exactly what you say you don't want.

After 10/7 how anyone is passionately advocating for that movement (in that absence of disavowals _of 10/7_ from the rest of that community) is sincerely mysterious to me. Historically any convention speaker has been one that supports the nominees. That is true of both parties. One could ask why any representative who disagrees with the platform of the party would be invited. The goal is to solidify the convention attendees and finalize the nomination.
