Sophie, I am glad you are speaking with such a level head about this, but I would like to make one correction. We do not think badly of the British in the US. We do think badly of Harry and Meghan and place the blame firmly on Meghan's shoulders. Harry has been caught by the spider and totally corrupted by her. 2011 I traveled to England. First time out of NZ. I was terrified as all hell 🤣🤣🤣 BUT the moment I got off the plane it was amazing! Everyone I met were just friendly and halirious 🤣🤣 So welcoming. One of the best experiences of my life. I've been to other countries since then but for me nothing compares to England. And to hear of the hardships the people there are facing and the slander and lies is just heartbreaking. My heart goes out to England and her people ❤

As an American, I am so sad that the pro-Sussex position is often identified as "American." I don't know anyone who is sympathetic to the rantings of this spoiled, jealous, avaricious couple; most people I know just want them to be quiet and go away. The revelation uncovered by this latest barrage from them is the culpability of Harry in this mess. Previously I had thought that Meghan was to blame; I thought that she had turned a weak-willed and rather dim man against the family he had loved. What Harry has now revealed is that Meghan is only the catalyst or the vehicle; Harry's jealousy and simmering resentment was there all along but he was not strong enough to deal with it himself or to come out from under his mask. His situation does not speak well for "therapy." If his therapist could not get Harry to come to grips with his own part in this sorry mess, his anger at accepting reality rather than his fantasy of the way things should be to suit him, then his therapist has not accomplished the first steps of what could be called "therapy." The therapy client is still pointing outside of himself to people and situations and shouting, "They did it to me!"
I still blame Meghan even more than him, though. She has been engaging in a campaign of "devaluing" him from the get-go and doubled down on it from the time of the 40x40 thing when he was outside "juggling his balls". She has taken over his brain; addled by her treatment and by drugs, there was no way he could make proper steps toward growing up and independent. She is smarter than he and encouraged him to be reckless; ruined all his family connections after slagging off her own dad and telling lies about her family. I'm not letting him off the hook, just see her as even worse as she is not being run by someone else, just her own lack of decency.

The cost of living has skyrocketed, people are going hungry, high gas prices, families torn apart by drug addictions, the homeless population is getting completely out of control, the crime rate is unbelievable, and on and on I could go. To have someone of such privilege, that has never experienced such things, to come over here and whine and complain is absolutely horrid. I personally feel that it all boils down to money. I will not be buying his book or believing anything they say.

I love her accent too! It's so interesting to me just how many different accents there are throughout the UK. Yes, here in the US we definitely have different accents in different areas, but we're spread out much further from one another over here. I find it fascinating that one can drive 20 miles in any direction and find a different dialect from the village or city where the trip began! 🙂

I’m an American. Confusing to me why British media think Harry has an audience over here. We all know this couple is buying their awards and media acclaims. I don’t know any younger 20-30 gen who watch or care about them.😢. At work, restaurants, parties rarely hear them discussed. If I do, it’s usually not positive or very short. I teach high school so thought I would hear more. Most of my students think it’s a family thing.

I have two nephews, who both married gals that the entire family told them they should not marry because they were going to be a major problem in the marriage. It turned out that these two gals tried to turn my nephews against the family and did their best to get them to break off with the family. Eventually they got divorced and both nephews married really sweet gals who everybody loves. It just amazes me that when a lot of people tell somebody that the person they want to marry is just not right and the person doesn’t see it and goes ahead with the wedding. If a lot of people see this person as a problem, it’s a given that they are. Unfortunately, as the saying goes, love is blind, and in this case, Harry was definitely blind and did not see the manipulation that was going on by Megan, who obviously fit into his pity party and kept encouraging it to the point where he felt he had somebody who really understood him, for the first time. She did not really understand but fully intended to use his mental health to get him to break away from the family. It’s just so so sad to see him go down this deep hole.
