They were like Kath Soucie and Tress MacNeille to me. ‘Cause all four were iconic voices of the 90s. Except Kath and Tress rotate on the biggest role. Harry never did that with Bob.

These two were a great combination and it should not be underestimated how much Mr. Neale's tremendous and sharp sense of humour added to the broadcasts. I am unsure if Mr. Neale left of his own accord or not but if he was in fact fired, it was a travesty. Today more and more we are left with nothing more than muppets announcing hockey games. We should all miss Bob Cole!!! The playoffs won't be the same without him.
