If you are wondering about the scene that include Karkaroff and Snape. Karkaroff was showing him his death mark (The mark that all death eaters have on their arms) and telling him that he could feel voldermort was going to return because the mark was moving as if it was alive. That s why Karkaroff runs away from hogwarts and leaves his new life behind on the same night Harry announces Voldemorts return. If you pay attention to the scene where Dumbledore tells everyone about Cedric s death, you can see the students from hogwarts, Durmstrang and Beauxbatons along with Dumbledore and Madame maxine but Karkaroff is nowhere to be found.

Dumbledore in the book "Harry did you put your name in The Goblet" he asked calmly. Dumbledore in the movie grabing him by the shoulder "Harry did you put your name of the goblet" he asked shouting like a maniac.

I didn't know that the actor who played Viktor Krum is really Bulgarian. Cool!

Mad eye Moody is one of the good guys. He was locked in that chest almost the whole movie, while Crouch Jr was running around.

The durmstrang school is located in northern europe if i remember correctly but they have many international students. I believe Lucius wanted to send Draco there but his mother wanted Dracos closer to home🤣. The french school actually has both girls and boys but they didn’t include the boys in the movies for some reason. The students in the lake weren’t in real danger but the competitors didn’t know that

i love the HP series. there's a magical-ness, excitement, and warmth to the story and characters that i can't describe. i remember when i was a kid reading the books. when i got to goblet of fire i was so involved i couldn't put it down. the writing is second to none... no other book captured my attention the way harry potter did. the movies are great as well. it gets even better after goblet of fire, as things get darker, more mature, while still retaining the humour, angst, love, heartbreak, and sweetness of their young adult lives during such troubling times.

The goblet of fire is one of the books that presents more plot twists than any others. Starting with Barty crouch Jrs plan. it was more elaborated and intrincated in the books. Also, Cornelius Fudge had a bigger part at the end of the book by the time Barty Crouch Jr. was exposed. Let s just say it was a flashpoint for the character.

No Spoilers: Girls, if you are wondering why Harry had to participate instead of just saying "NO" then pay attention to the sixth movie, you'll notice something and i think you'll understand when you see it why he couldn't get out of it.

This came out when I was in 8th grade. I remember that I decided to read the book for the first time before seeing it. I loved the book so much that I went and re-read it all over again, finishing it just a few days before the movie came to theaters, and I used to be a slow reader. I decided to invite some of my friends who were Harry Potter fans too to see the movie on opening night and it was one of the best times I ever had.

When I saw David Tennant in this movie. I was like that's The Doctor from Doctor Who

my Problem with that film has always been how much has been left out. You hardly get to know the champions at all. Fleurs Veela inheritance is sort of just cut out AND I am still mad that they cut the Sphinx XD

THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST HARRY POTTER MOVIES!

I don't care how many times I see this movie. The ritual to restore Voldemort and seeing him rise out of the cauldron will always simultaneously send shivers racing up AND down my spine and make me nauseous. Backstory: Neville was traumatized by the Cruciatus curse's usage, because his parents were tortured into insanity with it. Also, I don't claim those two students that were with Cedric. They were NOT behaving like Hufflepuffs.

I basically skip every reactors HP reactions until they get to this one. This is where it turns from a pre teen novel to damn near a young adult novel. And it just gets DARKER. I admire how well Rowling aged Harry with her readers.

Fun fact: this was the first _Harry Potter_ movie I saw in the cinema, having watched the first one on VHS, the second on a TV broadcast, and the third on a bootleg DVD that we always stopped watching 20 minutes in because it was badly scratched up. And at first, I actually *refused* to go see it despite being a fan of the prior movies, since I was only 9 at the time, and the movie is rated M here in Australia - that is, it's recommended for 15 and older, roughly analogous to PG-13 (or TV-14, for TV shows). However, I was invited to see it for my cousin's birthday, and my sister *insisted* that I go despite the rating, as it's merely a *recommendation,* and she didn't want me to look rude, so I went and saw it, and... Honestly, the climax of the first movie was scarier. If anything, my then-9-year-old brain was more *bored* by certain scenes in this movie, and I couldn't follow jack in the hedge maze scene because it was too dark (as in, *literally* dark, not the kind of dark I was expecting going in).

This is my least favorite movie in the series. Director Mike Newell took over and he never read any of the books before he took the job which is terrifying. He cut a lot out from the book that I really enjoyed like Barty Jr’s development, the Quidditch World Cup, the House Elves, and many mysteries that were in the book.
