i really appreciate the fact that you guys acknowledge that they're still teens and that their emotions are going to be all over the place sometimes! its annoying when people automatically hate on certain characters for expressing their feelings, without understanding why the character is upset in the first place. ron is one of my favorite characters and people are so quick to judge him without understanding how difficult it is to be in his shoes and how much he struggles with his family being poor and constantly being made fun of for it, and him always being in harrys shadow :( love the reactions, keep it up!!

It's basically confirmed the only reason they had the dance was to try and sniff out someone important to the champions. Harry and Parvati basically failed on the first date, Fleur only asked her date out to have a date but wasn't really interested in him, but Cho and Cedric clearly had feelings for each other and Viktor is actually smitten with Hermione. But none of them were in actual danger

That ending scene is actually a masterpiece. After all that trauma the two of them just slam into the ground to cheers and happy music, then Fleur's scream, and the ripple through the crowd as they realise something is wrong ... chills everytime.

In the Books the beginning is much further explained. The Muggles name was Frank Bryce. He lived in this city for many years and was the Gardener of the Riddle Family. Voldemorts real Father and his parents. Long after Voldemorts Father left his mother a young boy was seen walking around the village and the next morning all Riddles where found dead without any wounds or even signs that someone broke in. That’s why everyone thought that it was Frank who poisoned them because he was the only one who had the key. So they arrested him but had to let him go later because they had no evidence. He went back to the house and watched for it for the rest of his life. When he went up there he thought it where just some teenagers again. Oh and of course the ministry found out about the muggles being killed. They knew it was a wizard but nobody even thought of the boy. So Morfin Gaunt, the Brother of Voldemorts mother who already attacked Tom Riddle (Voldemort’s Father) before got send to Azkaban for this. It was just one year after Voldemort’s first murder (Myrtle) but this time he killed his Father and his Grandparents when he was only 16 years old.

One of the most overlooked moments in this movie is Barty Crouch Jr (as Moody) purposely chosing Neville for the Crucio demonstration. He was the one who helped Bellatrix torture his parents to insanity and knew exactly what he was doing. He was pretty much rubbing it into Neville's face.

I *love* your reactions and chemistry together. I always laugh at what Monica says; she's so funny. Rico, I cry every time I see the father/Cedric scene, too. It's so hard to watch. I'm sure you two are glad you can be together again -- we sure are! Looking forward to the next reaction!

What's interesting about the book is that Moody (fake moody) doesn't just show them the unforgivable curses, he actually puts the imperious curse on them all and essentially tries to see which of them have the willpower to resist the curse, and Harry is able to completely throw off the imperious curse. So at the end, when Voldemort tries to get harry to fight him and do his bidding so he can embarrass him in front of his followers, he's angry because Harry keeps kicking the spell off. What's also interesting about barty crouch jr - they don't explain how he's NOT in azkaban. Basically, barty crouch sr's wife was sad about her son, and she was dying, so Barty Crouch Sr and his wife visited barty crouch jr in azkaban, then the mother drank polyjuice potion and turned into the son, the son turned into the mom, and they smuggled him out so the mother died in azkaban in his place, drinking polyjuice potion until the end. The dementors couldn't tell, because one sick person entered Azkaban and one sick person left. So no one suspects it's him because he's actually believed to be dead.

The death of Cedric Diggory was a moment that completely changed Harry Potter. Yes death and tragedy have been a part of the story since he beggining but at no moment we actually saw a actual death that meant something in the story. Cedric was just another student, just another boy from Hogwarts and Wormtail killed him with no remorse and no second thought, it truly showed what the followers of Voldemort were capable off, how they wouldnt be forgiving and mercyful just because they are " just kids"

This movie is so light in the beginning and darkens until a bleak end.

The tournament happens once every 5 years, but was discontinued after 1792 when the death toll mounted too high. You can break free of the Imperius curse, but it takes real strength of character which Harry sort of showed when Moody put each of them under the curse in class. 42:59 by the way, in that scene Karkaroff was asking snape for help. His deatheater mark was starting to “come back to life” (which is a sign that voldemort was gaining back his powers), and since he had betrayed him he was scared that the deatheaters were soon going to come for him. Matter of fact after going back home he fled for good, in order to prevent them from tracking him down

you should've told her that the reason neville was so uncomfortable was because his parents were actually tortured with that curse.

I found it interesting that who Moody/Crouch Jr did each curse for. Apart from the Imperius Curse, doing it in front of Neville was Crouch's way of tormenting Neville more years after using Crucio on his parents, doing the killing curse at Hermione's desk represents how Death Eaters like him would be happy to kill muggles-borns like Hermione.

Growing up with these films and books was amazing and being 8 when I this film came out. Even then I remember thinking about how stunning Emma Watson always was in the films so I find it hilarious how everyone is shocked at her beauty in this film. It definitely makes more sense in the books.
