The reason that Neville is so triggered by the creature in pain is because his parents were tortured by that exact curse - basically until they lost their minds. Also, to make it worse, Barty Crouch Jr., was one of the wizards that tortured them 😭

@@isabahraini7216 I don’t believe it’s directly revealed in the movie. Maybe mentioned in subtitles in the trial scene but is definitive revealed in the 4th book. The prime group even meets them in the 5th book

@@TheMikeLawzfor years I've been saying the only sports I care about are quote unquote fake (quidditch and wrestling, I used to say WWE but literally the only person I care about their anymore is Rey Mysterio my other favorite guys are in AEW now I'm pretty sure you would be able to figure out who they are because they're friends of Rey Mysterio he briefly held tag titles with the both of them they also briefly tagged together but they didn't win that much when they tag together freaking WWE with those drafts always put them on opposing shows which pissed me off and they always had the same rivals when anybody switched shows so it was like they were interchangeable if that's not enough clues I will tell you I met them both when they were 31 they are awesome I met the first one RVD about 5 months after I started watching he had the ic title at the time that still said wwf on it and the other one I had a massive crush on for about a decade or so that would be edge I met him at a book signing right after he came back from the neck surgery and he was starting to get booed for no apparent reason even though he was definitely a good guy side note he was so f****** sweet I am a mess of nerves and I had a crush on this guy for about 3 years at that point and I'm terrible with eye contact but when we locked eyes I felt a wave of warmth go over my entire body I haven't felt it before or since but it just walked away all the nervous energy and suddenly I felt like I've been friends with him for at least a decade

GoF is my favorite because I got brought in when PoA was on DVD so this was the first one I saw in theaters. But Cedric’s dad should have got an Oscar nomination for that scene because I feel it every single time I watch!! 😢

I remember watching this in the theater and EVERY SINGLE seat had someone it - when Cedric died that was HUGE. This is really where Harry Potter movies start to turn dark.

Okay here's the thing about dragons in the Harry Potter world there are 10 species from all over the world and they can hybridize apparently but that's super rare. We did not see nearly enough subspecies in this freaking series and I'm salty about that. We could have at least seen all the f****** species that are in this movie but no they couldn't be bothered to do that and they never specified what species we saw later there are several theories and of course you saw a little Norbert hatch and in the book Charlie sent a note from Romania saying as he grew up they found out that Norbert was actually a girl so the name is now Norberta (although I follow a girl on RU-vid who has a bunch of reptiles and one of her first snakes was named Janet and it turned out to be a boy so when she got Janet a mate she called the female Brad)
