I love that Rupert got Hufflepuff because Ron was so much the Hufflepuff of the group, Hermione was the Ravenclaw, and Harry was the Slytherin, and they were all Gryffindor. It just works.
Ron: Undying loyalty Hermione: Astonishing Wisdom Harry: Impeccable Perseverance I'd say what makes them Gryffindors was because they value bravey and friendship so highly, otherwise they'd be perfect for the other houses.
So, a Machine learning model trained on data from Jo , predicting the stability in decision of Jo... I made it sound like a Master's Theis.. who wants to nerd one out? Any non muggle coders here?
Lewis getting Hufflepuff is actually rather ironic. In the books, Neville himself wanted to be in Hufflepuff, but the Sorting Hat won the argument and placed him in Gryffindor.
When I see that in real life Bonnie Wright acts like the Ginny from the books, I get even more pissed off at the writer for not respecting Ginny in the movies and not giving her any development. So sad. It is obvious that Bonnie shared Ginny's strong personality. 🧡
What she said in this interview is totally different from the movies it's confusing 😐 it's nice to hear from her that she wanted to play Ginny as a warrior, Ginny from the books, but sadly you can't see that in the movies. You cant see that from her acting and you cant see that from how the writers wrote Ginny for the movies. So sad for such an epic character.
@@me9981 are you forgetting her blasting a Death Eater back with such a powerful Reductor curse that he went sailing back God knows how far? And the fact that the curse was so powerful it essentially destroyed the entire Hall of Prophecies? She also showed plenty of bravery chasing down Harry in the HBP when the Burrow was attacked. I agree that there were plenty of important Ginny moments cut, but there were also quite a few included in the movies
Evanna Lynch doesn't age, clearly she's some sorta elf. She looks basically the same and certainly sounds the same as all those years ago when Deathly Hallows came out.
Also this one felt very surface level. While you do get questions about bravery and smarts... It feels very leading and you can push it to say what ever house you want. It just feels like it's trying to hard.
Yeah same. I don't understand why they decided to change it to a simple reading site... Edit: HOLY SHIT *WAIT* I JUST REALISED YOU COULD PROBABLY SEE THE SITE AGAIN WITH THE WAYBACK MACHINE (web archive). Just depends if it needs flash or not...
@@sleeplessnight4738 When it first came out Pottermore website looked like a map where you go book by book and then read a story in summary while kinda playing it like a game. You had your trunk, you had friends, you could earn house points, you could brew potions... You had common room, diagon alley, great hall and you could hear all the sounds of people from those places. It was amazing 😭😭😭 Edit : idk why they changed it 😩 i just wasn't on the page for a few years and when I came back it was all new 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 idiots. Sorry for being such a drama queen hahaha 💔
I found Pottermore in 2013. I was so excited to get home from school every day and play for hours on various accounts. It was so atmospherical and unique. Miss it so much. T_T
“No book is really worth reading at the age of ten which is not equally - and often far more - worth reading at the age of fifty and beyond.” ―C.S. Lewis.
I love how the girls got Gryffindor and the boys got HP I feel like the girls used their instinct without much calculations and the guys responded with what they thought is more practical to them. Interesting to watch . I personally got Gryffindor and am thrilled about it but I would have been equally happy with Slytherin tbh lol
Yea the girls was using they’re emotions/feelings while the boy was using logic and was calculating to see what practical to them. I know this is from 9months ago🌝
James and Oliver Phelps didn’t do this one, but they did do the one at universal studios in Florida. The sorting hat there and Oliver got Gryffindor and James got Hufflepuff.
Lmao same 🤣 I did it to make sure the house was correct; the majority of the time I got Hufflepuff, but out of the 5 attempts I got 2 Slytherins. Not to mention, on the original site (the interactive Pottermore) my house was Slytherin the majority of the time with like 2 Hufflepuff's. So Slytherpuff it is. Also, the patronus on my main Hufflepuff account for Pottermore is an adder snake, which I think is very fitting given my sorting over the years...
I got slytherin and hufflepuff every time two years ago but now I made one now and I got gryffindor:( now I just keep going the sorting test again and again to get slytherin or hufflepuff lmfaoo
I did lol because initially I didn't do it as I felt I wanted to be in Gryffindor so I chose options that would get me gryffindor and I did but I felt bad after that so I created a new account and tried as I felt and really got gryffindor I tried many times after that and got gryffindor again and again not one of my accounts are slytherin, hufflepuff, or ravenclaw sads:((
Everything was so wonderful back then, after books and movies ended Pottermore came out and it was amazing, you felt like you were part of that world and it helped with nostalgia after movies ended. Since Wizarding World took over Pottermore, it's so much more simple, it's like a blog rather than experience. That on top of Rowling putting out bunch of unnecessary and kinda stupid details and that shit show of a cursed child really made the magic go away.
Also the controversy surrounding her.... so many people are pushing for her (and HP itself) to be cancelled. I don't want to get into the politics of it, but at this point I feel like HP has grown so far above and beyond JK Rowling that it's easy to separate the art from the artist in many ways. I'll never not love HP just because JK is controversial.
That whole "controversy" was blown out of all proportions. Sure, many people involved with the movies openly severed all ties with her but that was to be expected. Not do do so would likely mean not getting any decent jobs in the future. And there were also instances of especially "open minded" people destroying the books. Which of course has always been the trademark of any decent movement 🙄 When it comes to the broader fanbase however, those that aren't obliged to open virtue signaling, things might look a bit different. The overwhelming success of Hogwarts Legacy despite all efforts to get it cancelled kind of shows that.
@@Azhalan blown out of proportions? Rowling has denied being a transphobe while actively campaigning against the trans community and all but confirming her status as a fascist. Everyone has a right to their opinion, but all you need is a heart to know that her views are harmful to people who just want to live their lives
Mathew Lewis doesn't like cats?! Well now I'm a little sad... 😢 I peresonally would choose an owl because of the usefulness of mail delivery and just how magestic owls are! But when you really observe owls and think about it, owls are just cat software on bird hardware.
I don't think harry porter is proper to remake whenever in the future. it's like ... similar to nobody gonna remake the god father movie. It's too iconic for this story .. this book.
I take the quiz every few years, usually 5-10 times to double check consistency due to being unsure about some of my answers. A few of those questions are the sort of question I could lean either way with. Last sorting, I got a Ravenclaw majority, followed by Slytherin and Hufflepuff. Let's see about this one.... I got Hufflepuff, then Gryffindor, then Slytherin, then Hufflepuff and Gryffindor again, then Ravenclaw, and finally, a third Gryffindor. It seems that, either I'm apparently a Gryffindor (in which case, I must be Peter Pettigrew reincarnated, because I'm neither brave nor bold), or whichever house I get, it isn't a very strong sort - I'm still floating somewhere in the middle. The test does seem to oddly gravitate towards Gryffindor a bit, even with answers that should lean more to Slytherin or Ravenclaw, so that's quite strange - on the last run I did, I decided to see if picking the most underhanded or knowledge hungry answers I could personally agree with would affect the vote, and then it pulled Gryffindor out of its arse, so.... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Maybe trying the complete quiz could help, compilations that have the entire set of questions, there are some that even give you percentages for each house.
I believe the house sorting isn't necessarily about what you are but about what you value most. So in case of Neville who isn't courageous at all, but wishes it to be and values it greater than what the other houses stand for, is put in Gryffindor.
I first got sorted in Gryffindor when I took it years back, but it never really felt right as I am not courageous at all, I've got the back bone of a wet spaghetti. Then last month I took it on WizardingWorld and got Hufflepuff. Initially disappointed I took the time to read up on what they stood for, and realized I am indeed a Hufflepuff through and through. Patient, loyal, dedicated, and believing in being just and honest, while also being super humble which often comes at the cost of my own self confidence and self worth.
I've done the quiz many times 'cause it's fun to do and I've gotten every house but slytherin. The requirements for houses are so broad that really all that matters is what group you feel the most connection to.
I did this test several times, even with a time difference and each time i got only Slytherin even if I expecially tried to choose something different what would suit me too. Only Slytherin 👁👁
What part of Ginny was a warrior? By movie 6 she was just a soppy slave girl to Harry. She was like book Fleur looking at Bill. Nothing against Bonnie, she did well with the material she was given, the material itself was just **** Evanna seems so loyal to Luna, the way she talks about her really makes it seem like she loves Luna as much as the rest of the world. Then again, I do believe she pretty much knew she embodied the role before she got the role to begin with. She is the perfect Luna.
They butchered ginny's character and turned her into a dramatic teenager, in the books she was awesome, I love her character and bonny really tried her best to portray the real ginny.
Found this today ; Revelation 21:19 NLT 19 The wall of the city was built on foundation stones inlaid with twelve precious stones: the first was jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald, - Jk Rowling used things from soooo many sources as inspiration for her story- that’s why it lives. It’s tied to the world. And maybe she did it all for Harry. Omg she’s Lily.
on my Quiz I chose invisibilty mostly for two reasons the first is weeell 😉 I'm sure those who love innuendos can piece it together and the 2nd I just to be able to play a fly on the wall so I can overhear those Juicy Juicy secrets and get an inside scoop for the Gossip😆😅😂
Their excitement when getting to gryffindor tells me they aren’t really into HP universe , they are just actors , which is rather sad. Same thing I’ve noticed with the Marvel cast
I get where you are coming from man, Gryffindor would be the most disappointing house for me personally, but know that some people honestly want that and are happy about it. They played thier character for so long it's hard to not have that personal attachment. Ya know?
My little nephew just started the books and was also super excited that some random test said he was a Gryffindor. The books really make it seem like all the other houses suck and it makes me so sad.
@@wednesdayvibes2608 Nah, people only like Gryffindor and Slytherin because that is where most of the main cast are. Also people seem to like to be edge lords and love villains for some reason that is why Slytherin is popular too.
@@thelastmotel Muggle isn't the equivalent of that. Every British wizard calls non magic folk muggle. Mudblood is the bad word. Only the American witches and wizards say it's weird because they use No-Mag instead, which... literally is just a literary culture thing. Loads of American's don't understand that brits call cigarettes fags (at least in Scotland) not understanding that it has ZERO implication to the slur used for gays. It's also a term for sausages, so. Muggle is the British term for non-magical and that's basically it.
kinda sad how they are so known for being these huge characters from the books/movies and they haven’t even cared enough to be “sorted” like that is such a basic thing, they really don’t care about HP at all
The actors shot the movies for like 8 years. Their entire careers revolve around harry potter. I think the harry potter franchise has been in there lives enough. There entire life doesn’t have to revolve around it you know
I remember when Pottermore first came out, Evanna said she was sorted into Gryffindor, which is probably why she reacted in the video the way she did because it confirmed what she already knew. Rupert's the only one in the video saying he's never done it.
