How could he not realise he was a ghost? You have to choose to not move on and stay back as a ghost.

Hermione explains horcrux’s cannot live without the host so if the hosts body perishes then the horcrux no longer lives inside it. So would that mean in theory that would mean if Harry died of old age so would the horcrux?

@@elimorcos4119 The only thing that makes sense to me for why Voldemort had to be the one to kill Harry was so that Harry would have the choice to return or move on. This only actually makes sense if we ignore the bit about it not being a possibility before the graveyard in Goblet of Fire.

But I don't recall reading anything that would hint at or suggest the possibility of Sirius Black's return. Even in the final showdown in the Forbidden Forest, Sirius returns along with Remus Lupin, Lilly, & James who are clearly ghosts, indicating Sirius is one, too.

No they are shades not ghosts they passed through the veil and moved on and were called back as shadows of their former selves aka shades

With the locker rooms bit, I had kind of assumed the locker rooms had privacy curtains/areas for the private bits

If the Dursleys were effected by the horcrux, what about Harry? He should have been consumed by an overwhelming amount of anxiety, fear, and moodiness since he possessed the horcrux within. Yet, he was not.
