It's funny if you think about it. James was a pure-blood wizard Lily was a muggle-born witch, they got married. Ron is a pureblood wizard Hermione is a muggle-born witch they got married. Like Teddy and Harry are orphans. The circle continues.
Petunia Evans-Dursley was definitely jealous. And to Vernon Dursley, anything “unusual and wondrous” was outside his concept range. He knew drill-bits of some twenty or thirty configurations. Add that “aura” of dark power that shadowed Harry, and that only irritated their unpleasantness toward Harry. In some ways, Harry was treated like, or worse than, a house-elf. Meanwhile, they condoned, and maybe even encouraged Dudley’s bullying of his cousin Harry. Only when Harry saved that lump of a cousin from his will being sucked from his soul by the Dementors, did Dudley realize that Harry looked upon him as family. Uncomfortable, unpleasant, abusive, but still family worth saving.
Ron and harmony are members of the OotP and are Dumbledores plants from day one. Dumbledor left little up to chance. Including harrys two best friends. 😊
Voldy vs Grindewald is always a bit weird comparisong. Comparing their power as a leader/political view or magical abilitys to duel ans use other charms? Grindewald achieved much more on a political level and had ideology behind hes actions. Voldemort just wanted to be immortal and rule everyone. Hes ideology was that ”I am the god”. I believe that Grindewald could have gain the leadership over wizards, if the one and only Albus Dumbledore didnt step in. If Voldemort would have gained the leadership over wizarding world, there would be alot more resistance from other wizards, because its just a ”obey or die”, no political partys, debates or so. But if we put Voldemort and Grindewald 1v1 against each other (both have original wands, no supporters, ”equal situation”) I believe that Tom would beat Gellert. Grindewald was a strong wizard, no doubt in that, but not on the same level as Voldy. Voldemort got betrayed by wand issues, plot armor, etc, but prime voldemort was basicly unstoppable even without elder wand. Only Dumbledor could beat him. Numerous aurors couldnt do a thing, even if they went 1v3 or even more. After he got destroyed the first time, I believe that he didnt come back with full power. +in goblet of fire the destruction of horxruxes had begun.
M8, Rowling set Ron and Hermione up to be a perfectly functioning couple in the books. Harry and Hermione might have been brother and sister given how they seemed to have such a strong sibling like bond. But along comes Kloves who loathed Ron, So, he set up the Harmony ship in the films. Rowling was influenced by the Harmony shippers. That, and the fat that she is NOT the same JK Rowling that wrote the series. I sometimes wonder if she secretly had other authors helping her with the series. That would explain the contradictions between her work in the series, and what she's said in interviews. SHE may have not cared for the pairing. But the author that wrote the book (s) was clearly setting them up to be soul mates.
I agree, Harry and Hermione actually refer to each other as siblings in the books. Let’s not even get started on the dumpster fire She insists should be cannon (The Cursed Child).
Yeah I don't think Rowling herself endorsing these theories is the win you think k it is. No one has done more to hurt Harry Potter post Hallows than JK herself. Never mind her political shenanigans. She added, and changed so much on a whim, and for absolutely no reason. Her tinkering has hurt her story more than anything.
