My P.O. Box was attacked... again (in a good way!) by The Potter Collector community! it is crazy to think that this community is hands down one of the most accepting fandom communities of all times, we were taught that love in all its forms stands stronger than anything in this world. To all those who come back through books or through screens, harry potter is always here to welcome us home.

I feel like that is one of the best things about fandoms! I'm in a few: One Direction, Harry Potter, Dr Who, Supernatural. Like-minded people who maybe don't feel "at home" in the real world, or are very sensitive, or just need more than regular daily life

Age doesn't matter? Good. I started reading Harry Potter at 68 and read through the books as fast as I could. One try on the website told me I am Hufflepuff, but a repeat foray declared me a Ravenclaw! Well I don't know. My patronus is a dolphin. My favourite character is Remus Lupin. @@tanaydalmia1 The whole situation is confusing... I don't believe he should have lost it if Amber wasn't also asked to step down from her role in Aquaman. There is enough evidence on both sides to suggest they both were part of the problem.

@@ThePotterCollector That was my feeling. It sounds like the whole relationship was problematic, but we started to hear more about how manipulative she was. The main issue I had was one of the reasons they stated for ejecting him from the role so swiftly was about it coming out about substance abuse. I was quite sure it was no secret that Depp has been on drugs pretty much since the start of his career, so that was just a stupid reason.

The letter you read about the female that’s battling depression and anxiety was touching. The fact that your channel helped her get through a challenging year was inspirational. Keep doing a great job, the world needs a positive place like your channel to escape to when life gets hard.

I didn’t think that I would enjoy watching someone open their post, but the Potter Collectors’ are a imaginative and creative community. Thank you for sharing. I’m a 66 year old Ravenclaw who has very little in the way of collection due to being a very fixed income, but I listen to the books all the time as I spin on my spinning wheel or knit. I suffer from depression, anxiety and autism. It's really sucks. Harry Potter has always been an escape for me. I love the books, films and yt channels. Watching Potter collector, cherry Wallis is always a nice way to distract myself. Love this channel

Thanks for the great video. It gave me a company when i traveled hours to my hometown to attend to my grandma's funeral. It gave me something else to think and it means a lot. Only this togetherness can guide us all thru this pandemia. Lots of love from Finland and keep collecting!

I absolutely loved this and especially you reading the letters a special message for the boy who is suffering from anxiety and depression. I’ve had that issue 6 years ago trust me ... time will make it better there will come a day when you no longer feel anxiety or depression hang in there, and when that day comes you will be surprised at how quickly it came! Hang in there rely on friends and family and don’t be afraid to speak what you are feeling the more you talk to your friends and family the better you will feel , all the best and hope you make a quick recovery.

I have Depression and my mom took me to my Doctor for help so I'm on an anti depressant now but it's starting to not work so I have an appointment the 14th of January to fix it

I hope there is new effective treatment for you Rachel. You have a great mother who takes what you say seriously - she is a great source of strength and encouragement. Do you like to write? Writing things down can really help, especially if you give yourself permission to write whatever and however you felt and whatever is most helpful.

This channel is so wholesome and it brings me joy to see how loving everyone is to each other. I have loved Harry Potter since I was 9. I remember wanting to go to the cinema with my best friend and none of our parents wanted to go with us. Her sister took us in the end and spoiled us with all the Harry Potter sweets she could buy. To date still one of the best memories I have of us together. I am not a huge collector myself but I do collect the house edition books (I’m a Ravenclaw), the illustrated versions by Jim Kay and I bought the Minalima book so will be collecting those too. Keep up your positive vibes and all the best for 2021

Chamber of Secrets is one of my favourites too. Like a true Ravenclaw I also enjoy all the info in this movie. You get way more answers from the books obviously but you still learn a lot about Hagrid, like why he was suspended all those years prior and what house he was in (i still disagree with JK Rowling here, WHICH IS BLASPHEMY I KNOW!!) it’s cause it’s Slytherin and i will take that to the grave with me lol. The relationship between Snape and Harry is exposed a little bit (like the softer side of Snape). AND we get our first introduction to the Horcruxes! It is a wild ride but a perfect bridge to the even more info filled and darker Prisoner of Azkaban, which again the book reveals way more!

Have you considered opening a Harry Potter memorabilia museum to display all of the collectables you have? I suspect that if you put it near Orlando, you could probably make it a viable business.

If I close my eyes, he sounds like Steve Carell lol I don't know what inspired me to start collecting. I bought a couple of books one day and thought "I'd better take good care of these". Then I got a cheap timeturner from wish and also a cheap elder wand. It stayed that way for a long time with the odd book being added, then my collection really took off last year when I discovered my Noble collection addiction. Now I have wands, models of the castle, lego, the cloak, the diadem, the map, pretty much everything lol. Would really love all the audiobooks on cd but the prices are insane.

The only reason I don't send gifts to my favorite RU-vidrs is, I'm afraid they won't like it! I can't make up my mind which house my dog is in. She has a lot of Hufflepuff qualities, but sometimes seems very Slytherin, she is very clever and manipulative. She's very protective, so maybe Gryffindor
