Harry's death was so meaningless. Also, when will Breda get caught and the victim's families have closure. This storyline is just getting ridiculous. At least Lily's sudden death had a meaningful lesson behind it and raised awareness about youth and teen suicide.

Harry says goodbye to his family - and I say goodbye to Hollyoaks. When I after years of disappointments thought I had started to see improvements, particularly with the Buster, Ollie and Brody SL, it is back to scratch again after the latest development (23/7). A dreadful end to a dreadful storyline (possible spoilers). A sad end to a character made sadder and more pitiful from storyline to storyline. It will be Emmerdale only from now on. Now I have had enough stupidity! Seriously, the IQ level around the Hollyoaks storyline table will not cause anyone vertigo attacks. This solved by the old trick of a secretly taped confession, when instead of killing Harry, Breda could have been the one to have secured his freedom, since she could have testified Harry had noticed his car was missing hours before Grace was run down, and also that Harry had gone to fetch a bus to get himself to town. Since Mercedes and Liam had already driven away when Harry went for the bus, Harry`s phone - which was left in the car - would connect to mobile phone base stations along the route to town, before the bus with Harry reached the same areas, and therefore would prove Harry`s phone was in the car, as he had claimed, while he himself could be proven from CCTV footage to have been on the bus, and where he went on and off it. Harry should have been in the clear months ago, had James been anywhere near as skilled in the legal profession as he claims to be. Instead he has been just tragically poor. And when the end to the storyline is this low quality emotionally manipulated nonsense, I have had more than I can take. I`m off Hollyoaks - probably forever. Still, thanks for the good moments there has been, now and again, and for a chance to release all my built up frustration about the world, and the direction it is taking, into fictional characters and storylines, giving me a chance to vent out on those and not more real and people and situations. It hasn`t been all bad. Many of the actors I will miss (including the one killed off and his killer), but Storylines and character developments - I probably will not miss that much. Since I overall have found most of them poorer dramatically, and less in touch with reality, than they would have had to be. Shocking and sensational developments in themselves does not make for great drama - but usually have been what Hollyoaks has offered. And logic certainly do not have Hollyoaks as it`s home address either. Nor do authenticity, reality or feel good. But I`ll miss the funny one liners, the great sarcasms and funny word plays, the comedic talent of many of the cast, and I`ll also miss the theme tune. Would also have liked to see the right wing grooming storyline and Maxine`s Munchausen storyline to the end. But fearing it will be a similar blow in every way to this one, and because I can come up with 2-3 different ways of handling those storylines than what has been done so far, honestly also is a little relieved I will not have to suffer through it anymore. Cause even though some of it has been very good, even in regard to the storyline - not just the acting - some of it also has been too over the top to feel authentic, and therefore to me have reduced the quality of the overall storyline, rather than elevate it. So Cheerio Hollyoaks! You have been a great place to let off steam, practice both my English and my argumentation. And amidst all the sand and water, there have been a few grains of gold in the show itself as well. Thank you for all of it - and goodbye.

Jarry was a huge mistake. I doubt harry really loved james. He was tempted and after going to prison, he felt he changed and he believed james was the only one that understood his dark side. But james doesn't really understand. if he did he wouldn't be so paranoid. He wouldn't have drugged him and tracked him. Thanks to james, harry has to go on the run. Spoiler elert, harry was killed off and the last two names he spoke was his father and ste. Starry was always meant to be because they've been through so much. Their bond is greater than james and harry's because harry wants to james to be something he's not. A person that's normal. Someone he can have a family with. They even had a better goodbye than james and hary because the last thing he heard from james is him admitting he drugged him to miss the court date and saying he doesn't care. With ste, they hugged and showing they cared about eachother. Jarry is completely wrong. Starry, while not perfect, was right.
