Tea is my choice of hot drink. Don`t drink neither coffee, nor milk. Used to drink both Coca Cola and orange juice, but now only drink water (Voss - or tap water, as it actually is in Norway) - or wine. Sorry if that was not the info your advertisers, or marketing departement, were hoping for. But I can cheer them up with the fact I sometimes eat pizzas from Domino`s (they have taken over what used to be Dolly Dimples in Norway. Never tried the chain when it was Dolly Dimples, stuck to the Norwegian Peppe`s instead. But because of Hollyoaks, gave Domino`s a try when they took over, and was mighty pleased with their products. A little thinner than the Peppe`s pizzas, but yummy taste and reasonable price.)

I don't like harry but he's not the problem. James is. If you've seen the later episodes, james tracks him and also drugs him. James is dark and controlling. What he's doing is a crime.

What makes starry special was that they were friends as well as romantic. What's weird is that harry is with someone that had pimped him out. And every time harry goes out james tracks his phone and thinks the worst of him.

Jarry is just creepy. James gave harry thousands to sleep with him. Harry was a teen then so that's disturbing. Starry had its problems and yes there were difficult times but atleast is was more normal. it's less disturbing than jarry. Jarry is dark, obsessive and has no trust. It's nauseating seeing james obsessed with harry for years. And now that they're together james tracks him and questions everything.

What's disturbing is that james was so obsessed with sleeping with harry that he paid him thousands. Yes ste is older but harry went after him first. I know starry had its problems, i'm not condoning his drug issues, but ste is still a better person than james because when ste found out that james was innocent, he got him released because it was the right thing to do even though he hated him. While james is petty, obsessed and paranoid and those qualities are bad for a relationship.

Jarry has no future. James will continue to think the worst of him and harry will never be responsible. How can people ship them when it's this messed up. I've got my reasons for not liking jarry such as, how james was his pimp, they started out by cheating, james has zero trust in him and tracks his phone, harry isn't much older than romeo and this disturbing. Starry is over but jarry is no good either. They're not happy and when fans ship people isn't that the goal?

Sorry, but it is completely the other way around. James is the toxic one. He is a narcissistic manipulative psychopath with delusions of grandeur and sadistic tendencies. This makes him extremely dangerous, not only to Harry, but everyone. James is the one who is selfish and who lies, manipulates and even makes threats if the former don`t work. He don`t care who he hurts with his manipulations, lies, not even when he frames innocent people like Sami`s dad for embezzlement or Ste for Amy`s murder. To him it is all about being in control and feel powerful. Same with his relationship with Harry. Control being the imperative word. So he forbids Harry to talk to his ex, Ste, he wouldn`t even have let him be in contact with his baby to be had not Romeo intervened, and he keep Harry "in his place" by constantly complaining about how little Harry does - at the same time as he provide him with a brand new car and buys him lunches so Harry doesn`t have to work to live comfortably. It is all about James. He doesn`t love Harry. Harry is just a nice little comfort, same way as his coffee or his Audi A7. He is upset about Harry being with Ste the same way he would be upset if something had scratched the paint of his Audi. Cause people with as poor ability of empathy as James` acts has proved him to have, are not capable of truly loving someone. They can pretend, say the right phrases, make the right gestures or form the right facial expressions - but it is all pretend and theater, part of their need to manipulate to "win" and feel powerful and in control - they don`t truly feel it. When analyzing someone`s personality and intentions it is always best to look at what they have done previously, more closely than what they say, or how they appear. Cause true psychopaths of James` kind can appear very convincing and genuine. It is only when you look closer into what they actually have done, you begin to see to the contours of the real monster that they are. Like is clearly visible with James in anything from how he framed Sami`s dad, and later attempted to frame Ste for Amy`s murder - even when he blackmailed Harry into betraying his father, if not James would tell Ste that Harry had gotten £10 000 from James for a night of sex. Harry has lied too, true. But unlike James` lies, which tend to be cruel and calculated with the intention of manipulating others, Harry has lied to cover up something he is ashamed or worried of having be known. That is a completely different type of lies. Not to mention, that because James is so unreasonable in his demands, Harry feels he has to lie just to protect James from thinking the worst. James is the problem in the relationship, and quite frankly, in his present state, not suited to be in a relationship with anyone. So had Harry had any sense, he would have run a mile, and not looked back.

You're right about james being toxic and how he's possessive and treats harry as one of his possessions. He's petty and always has to be in control. Which is why jarry should end but him being a psychopath isn't exactly the word I would use to describe him because they don't have real feelings and after the drama with mac, he obviously has them. James is disgusting, only cares about himself so harry should stay away from him but starry isn't right either because ste can do better than harry.

​@@ihh619 We are in agreement about almost anything here, except the issue of James being a psychopath. Since I consider Mac`s development to monster Mac so out of touch with reality I simply cannot buy it, regardless how cheap a price Hollyoaks puts on it, I don`t factor in the storyline with Mac at all wen profiling James. I just look at the acts James has been responsible for, and what kind of motivations he has had to have had to be able to commit them. I don`t for a second find it credible James framed Ste to help Harry - it would have been plenty of both better and less dangerous, to his own career, ways of doing that. I find it more likely he did so because he felt he needed to get back at Ste for Ste`s one night stand with JP, cause knowing about that night made James feel inferior - and people like James don`t like that feeling very much. But by first pretending to represent Ste, while secretly sabotaging Ste`s case, and later downright framing him for murder, James regained his feeling of power, control and superiority over Ste. Fact of the matter is that someone who is not only capable of framing for embezzlement an innocent man who has been nothing but kind and helpful to him in his new job, but also solicite for sexual favors first - and extort afterwards - a teenage boy to get the boy to betray his own father by persuading him to give up the family`s restaurant. Just those two acts alone are so extreme, James would have had to have been a psychopath to be able to go through with them. More ordinary people would simply not be able to do something like that, and not get cold feet long before they even had begun. Cause there is a huge difference between what we are willing to do to protect ourselves AFTER something terrible already have happened, and what we are capable of deliberately planning to inflict on innocent people. Our conscience is a safety valve which protects not only other people, but also our own feeling of self-worth, from harm.

No. Furthermore he forbid Harry to be in contact with his ex, Ste, and he would even have denied Harry to be in contact with his baby to be, had it not been for Romeo speaking up. James accuses Harry of being selfish and full of lies - a description far more suited for James himself, who must be the most selfish and self-centered man in Hollyoaks (a sort of male Mercedes), and who has lied so often and maliciously you would need to recharge the calculator that kept count. Not to mention James constantly complains about Harry. He is not tidy enough, he plays too much video games, he doesn`t have a job etc. Honestly - apart from Harry telling James he loves him over and over (when did we hear that from James?), what kind of relationship is there between them at all? Harry`s is just another possession of James`, isn`t he?
