I think that the message of the video is that both the fish and Harry’s character were ostracized on their communities and were so frustrated that they were both gonna end it all ( Harry put rocks in his pockets and walked out to sea and the fish was jumping out of the water) instead they found each other at their lowest points and helped one another but the fish started to outgrow Harry and when his heard migrated to Eroda Harry had to let him go and the fish found its community. As for the jars, earlier in the video he was screaming into jars to let out his frustration and at the end he opened them and metaphorically used his frustration and hardships to fuel his boat and move forward. I think this represents a relationship where you find someone at the perfect time for both of you but you end up outgrowing each other and you have to let go and find your own path.

It is filmed in a small Scottish town but it is set in the imaginary island of Eroda (which is Adore backwards)

In case you didn’t notice when Harry put rocks in his pockets before he saw the fish he was going to drown himself but the fish didn’t want to live anymore either so they saved each other also something good to react to is Just a little bit of your heart he sold it to Ariana Grande but he sang it live and he wrote it in one direction and the lyrics are so special so please pay attention to the lyrics for that one, and you should react to Kiwi live on James cordon

IDK how this video goes over so many peoples heads it's really emotional and meaningful. I cried so many times watching it when it first came out. He was attempting to commit suicide n so was the fish...the fish saved his life then he saved saved the fishes life..this video hit hard for me so I really don't like when people joke about the fish and laugh at this video and don't pay attention or understand at all. A beautiful representation of mental health awareness.

Heiii, somebody actually read my comment & took the advice..! It's a cool MV, glad you enjoyed it! The wind in his sails at the end is the scream he yells to the jar at the very beginning of the video, you probably missed that part. The whole album Fine Line is groovy as hell - and you can describe it like that, bc it def has a lot 60s and 70s vibes. Great album, I strongly recommend you take a listen. Singles are good, but the album is a journey, and should be listened from start to finish. I know you already reacted to the title song, which is the very last song on that album. "brown skin and lemon over ice" actually indicates to the looks of the person he adores. "Lemon ice" is a slang term for someone with asian background. Just sayin

It was filmed in Scotland, specifically Port Seton Harbour, Cockenzie High Street and in the Thorntree Inn, all in East Lothian.

Adore you is inspired from the book called" loui the fish", and ofcoirs is about loui tomlinson again,just like all other songs of his... He loves making Taco for loui, as you can see he feed that fish the Taco!!!!!

Also, They have found out that there is a book from the 80s called “Luis the Fish“ where the pictures of the fish resemble this fish exactly. Also in the book there’s pictures of a boy laying in bed staring at the fish in the exact same striped pajamas that Harry where’s in this video. Some shots in this video are like exact pictures from the images in the book! Look it up sometime it’s so interesting. Also the ending of the video the sound that you hear very similar to the sound in the beginning of his other single watermelon sugar. Also if you would like to check out some of his not so pop songs: she, sunflower vol.6, canyon moon and to be so lonely from his album fine line Woman, Carolina, from the dining table(it's a slow sad song, but really good) and ever since new york from his debut album hs1

I think he is so talented and it was so cool to have a music video also be a mini film in a way. i love the friendship between him and the fish and how they help each other heal. I know its just a CGI fish but it always gets me in the feels. and yes my name is a star wars thing :p :)
