Harry loves the classics so I am sure he knew the song well. He sang Stevie Wonder's Isn't She Lovely for his X Factor audition and has done covers of many older songs. Both Harry and Niall are old souls and that extends to their taste in music. You can definitely hear that 60s/70s influence in their music.

For Fine Line he listened to Blue by Joni Mitchel and tracked down the dulcimer player from the album. He got one made for himself and played it himself in Canyon Moon. The man is a real artist 💛

Harry's parents music choices were a huge influence on him. Remember he said it was his "go to" karaoke choice on his karaoke machine. He genuinely looked shocked when it started playing, and the look on James' face makes it look like he knew Harry would be surprised.

As a Harry fan, I can confirm he loves his classic tunes. Even if you go as far back as The X-Factor, he talks about his influences and one of those is Elvis Presley. He was only 16 at the time! So yeah... Also I grew up listening to all the old stuff because of my parents, and I'm willing to bet his parents were a huge influence when it comes to his musical tastes too.

Look, I grew up with music from way before I was born because my dad played HIS favourites at home all the time while I was a kid. Of course you pick up stuff, and that stays with you forever. There are SO many songs I know word for word that came out way before I was born.
