Such a raw and emotional performance of an already achingly beautiful song! Aside from the horrible news of one of his ex’s suicide that week, he was also robbed at knife-point within a few days of this performance. It must have taken an incredible amount of strength just to get up on that stage. I don’t know how he did it! Thanks for the reaction.

I'd love to see you react to him singing fine line live, he almost never performs it the same more than once he's always changing it up and although he always does some improv changes for fun in all his performances it seems as though with fine line he just sings it purely based on his emotions at the moment, it's also one of his most loved songs. when I say you can hear how tired he was I mean even when he's just saying his thank yous at the end of the song you can hear how raspy and rough his talking voice was I don't even know how he was able to sing that while his talking voice was in that state and do it so beautifully too, Reggio Emilia is def one my top 10 concerts of his it had many special moments especially the 10 minute piano piece he played at the end as a goodbye to the tour and the fans before going on a break, the crowd was in shambles loll.

I understand.Some reactors I've seen put filter or emblems on the video to prevent blocking.If you want you can try this method. I liked the rawness of this performance. I think Harry’s voice is improving and finally getting stronger as he begins to tap into his emotions more and more. I didn’t mind that he didn’t hit the notes sometimes because I think we are seeing a bit of growth in his performances as he changes. I think this track released in 2019, might be about his relationship with Olivia Wilde who he broke up with after two years in 2020. That said, I think Harry is still not sure footed at present and thus in his singing he’s letting people know he’s questioning and continuing to be full of self doubt. It’s a side of Harry most aren’t used to because people are more used to seeing the 20-something semi confident pop performer, who tries different fashions stylistically because he doesn’t quite know who he is yet. I like that he is trying to be more experimental though.

I don't really know the details of Harry Styles personal life, to be completely honest, but I do believe this song is actually about a previous girlfriend who was from France. He didn't begin dating Olivia until after this had already been released, I don't think, but specifically there was another track on this album that had a voice clip of his ex talking on the phone and she was speaking in French. I think this entire album was about her, if I'm not mistaken 🤔

@@lblincoe2094 I think actually you are right, that makes much better sense. I think the French girls name was Camille Rowe and she was a model. He dated her between 2017 and 2018, then he began dating Olivia Wilde in early 2019, I think although I might not have the dates quite correct for Olivia.

Beth, Harry did not start dating Olivia until late 2020 and were first photographed together in 2021 attending his manager's wedding, which Harry officiated. This song 'Falling' was on his 2nd studio album 'Fine Line' released on December 13th 2019. It is widely accepted that 'Fine Line' contained many songs about his relationship with Camille Rowe whom he dated between the summer of 2017 through July of 2018. If I sound like a walking encyclopedia of Harry facts it's because I'm old and have a lot of time on my hands 🤣🤣. But all kidding aside I think Harry is an amazing young artist and talented beyond his years!

@@carolyncastle123 Thank you for helping me out with the time line. I appreciate your knowledge. I do listen to some Harry Styles tracks, but not from the albums, only on RU-vid or the radio. I remember him competing on X factor and becoming a member of 1D, but have only loosely followed him since then. I have paid some attention to the tracks on Fine Line such as Lights Up, To Be Lonely, Watermelon Sugar and Falling. Plus, some tracks on Harry’s House and think he’s maturing as a singer. I particularly enjoyed As It Was, Keep Driving and Satellite.

Ex? He was a child and she was 32. If it was an underage girl w a 32 year old man we would be calling it something very different. He might still be sad, I’m not saying he isn’t in this performance. But please stop calling Caroline his “ex”.
