Mahalo Bruce for Sharing our Hangin Lanterns, we greatly appreciate it. Here's to Harry Yee and Celebrating his Legacy . Okole Maluna From The Kon-Tigo Tiki Bar
Thank you for gifting to me your marvelous hanging lanterns. They're very special and I will be using them again and again in many a fine cocktail. Cheers to your success. Bruce
it's kind of a daiquiri spin, a wonderful sipper, holiday in a glass and one is enough to get tipsy! and the cocktail lantern is a new touch as never seen before. Rum, lime ans sugar! the magic combo never fails! I don't have the luxury to mix with three different rums but can do it in small portion with one rum and a Peach liqueur! sure will make it! thank you sir, FOR this wonderful cocktail and the history of umbrellas 👍
I find myself getting so excited when I see a new video posted. Always wait for the right time to enjoy the treat! I’ve said it more than once but I’ll keep saying it…your videos are so well made and entertaining! Thank you and your team for all the hard work and congratulations on #200!!! BTW…love the shirt!! Need to know where you shop! More tiki vibes too!!! My bride and I will be trying this one out over the weekend! Happy B-Day Harry!!!
Where I live, we invented a drink called the Outlaw Tears. It is 2 shots of Peach moonshine, half shot of sweet and sour, dash of grenadine, and topped w sprite. It's pretty popular now, but I would love if you did a spin on it.
Congrats on your 200th episode Bruce! Love your videos and content! Question: Where did you get the shirt in this episode?? Tommy Bahama? I absolutely have to have it!!!
That shirt was gifted to me by Harry's daughter. Straight from Hawaii. You might be able to pick one up at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Hotel in Hawaii. Cheers!
Bruce have you tried the Santa Cruz organic lime juice, the juice that's in a bottle? I used it in the Tapa punch and instead of peach brandy or peach snapped, I used apricot brandy since I had a bottle of it. And man let me tell you it kicked me into the Outer Limits and slapped me back to the Twilight Zone 🍹🍹🍹😵👽🤖. Going to be making another one soon 🤔.
I've never tried Santa Cruz organic lime juice. It certainly would be easier than pressing fresh limes. But, I'm okay with the press. Apricot brandy sounds like a fine substitute for the peach. Be careful with this one though. You don't want to be stuck in the Twilight Zone for good. Cheers!
@@BarTalkCocktails I agree Bruce, nothing is better than fresh juice but the grocery store in my small town doesn't always have limes or lemons so I started buying these organic bottled juices. Or it could be that I'm getting lazier in my old age (long covid I think).
RIP Harry Yee - I've been trying to see where he has been buried and cannot find any information on obituaries (died Dec 7, 2022). I want to go to his grave and place vandas and parasols on them.
Going to be having a hard time finding a replacement for Myers's Planters Punch rum since the LCBO doesn't stock that good Jamaican rum now. I hope they bring in a suitable dark Jamaican rum with lots of rotten banana funk🍌😌.
I've tried their Darker Side Rum. It looks, smells, and tastes like a well-aged whisky. I've tried some of their gins too. Excellent products. Cheers, Stacey.
