@LS Sigmarsson Joke Aside, He did. When Arslan lost vs Knee and Knee was in Pakistan, he utterly destroyed Arslan with Paul Ash was using Geese. I'd like to say that it took Knee time to adapt to such a insanely compact playstyle like Ash, ironically, that is how Knee plays. Final Score was 15-5 I believe.

@LS Sigmarsson Knee has already taken Arslan down more than once. It took him time but he did, and he already did it on the big stage with Paul and took him out of the tournament even though Chikurin ended up winning it. Arslan also respects Knee immensely but he also didn't entirely like how Knee used a character vs him then switched in a tourney setting to beat him. This came from Arslan's own mouth. This was during the Knee (Paul) vs Arslan Ash (Geese) set where he lost to Knee 5-15 Overall, Knee is the better player, and Knee even under pressure has performed amazing. Example Anakin vs Knee where he brought it all the way back.

He has English subtitles on many of his videos. It is expensive for him to hire a professional subtitler which is why he doesn't do it. He also doesn't seem too comfortable with English which is why he doesn't explain stuff in English. He isn't hoarding all his tech.

@@_winn0w It's strange that iamyourfather can have English subtitles on his videos but knee doesn't have. I am specific with subtitles not speaking. I have met him personally and I know his English speaking isn't that good. But it seems like he chooses patriotism over fanbase or over the game. which is totally his right.

@@Aerotk I think there is merit in what you both are saying. Hiring subtitle people can be expensive depending on what your budget is. I know cuz I do subtitling for some of the Pakistani scene. Yet, its also true that Iamyourfather and JDCR have subtitles. In JDCR's case it could be him doing the subs himself as his own English is pretty good. Lastly there is a third factor you both may be missing. Laziness lol

@@BullC6 you think knee is lazy at all?? Knee said tekken is life. How he become the unserious about any aspect of tekken. And knee is on board one of the highest paid player of tekken of all time. Because he is the only one earth that won more than around 150 tournaments in a tekken. If iamyourfather can hire there is no factor that knee can't. He is just patriotic and smart thats it like arslan, he is also wise and smart.

The thing about eye musician is... there is no read. Playing him, is playing chaos.

Why don't you just watch their later matches and see for yourself? Your mistake is presuming everyone else knows about their other matches just because you do. It's not even really important if it still works to be honest. The point of the interview is to look into what players think about during high pressure tournament matches to teach others how pros think. In any case, if they've had matches and they are online, just watch their matches after this and see for yourself if you're so interested.

@@RyanHartTV i mean that the points i stated makes it seem like an old interview and i asked if it was an old interview. is the interview recent? the existence of the newer matches present new interview questions. that was my point. in fact, those follow up questions further let us explore what you suggested in your comment. *most importantly, the key interest is for them to commentate on the footage, not for us to watch it ourselves.* it was this reason that this interview was nice. i was merely asking if the interview was old, since those questions were unexplored. u seem to have added emotions to my question (since you didn't just factually reply). it felt like u thought i was attacking your interview skills.

Yea, your comment suggested you have not understood my vision for the interview which annoyed me lol, of course you're entitled to your opinion however. Also you presumed I know about other matches which I don't. I feel I've made it clear what the purpose of the interview was and I think I hit all my intended points during the interview so for me the interview went exactly as planned. If that wasn't good enough for you, then I can't help you I guess. My plan or goal was not to ask about how things are now or matches afterwards since I didn't even know they had played. Can't ask about matches if I don't know about them. I hope that clears that part up for you. Anyway, you didn't answer my question: now you've seen this interview, why can't you just watch these other matches you mentioned and answer your own questions, like if the same strategy worked or not and stuff? Seems pretty doable.

@@RyanHartTV thanks. it of course makes sense if you didn't know they had newer matches. to answer your question, it is possible to watch those newer matches with this info in mind during our analysis. *However, the danger in such analysis is the same reason why boxing analysts can be wrong.* We can never know how much of the old information is applicable, and how much new information we did not include. E.g., If we see something similar, we can only think of the strategies Arslan listed here. If he answers, he may dispel our myth by saying that the subsequent 3 times were done with different intentions, or was in fact a bait for a completely different strategy. *He may have used this strategy, which he knew failed at x round, to set up another strategy, which worked for x times. but to us, we only see he tried this strategy x times.* the amount of information we are guessing/assuming is unknown, and asking a question often answers all of the above, and more if they go into details (like in this interview). (note that this doesn't apply to you since you didn't know they had newer matches, so do not take it personally) In addition, we never knew Arslan's perspective until this interview. By asking questions about subsequent matches, it can yield the same positive result. That is, we will be studying footage based on old information, but Arslan could have answer with new information (that we never could have imagined ourselves). Also, because Arslan studied Knee intensively, his opinion on whether (1) Knee adjusted mid-game, (2) Knee studied him back, (3) Knee changed his playstyle completely, etc. has far more weight than our analysis on the footage with one piece of information. Oftentimes, in post-fight interviews, analysts use existing information to make reasonable guesses. Then they ask the fighter, and the fighter presents them with new information. Therefore, I agree that it is possible to do the analysis ourselves using the information from this interview. However, our analysis *MAY* be incomplete, *MAY* lack many details we never imagined (like this interview), and if Arslan or Knee answered, it provides much more insight. Ofc, this is to answer your question of why post-fight interview questions are better than self-analysis based on past information (assuming the interviewee is answering as honestly as possible). The order goes... 1) Best is interviewing both at the same time 2) Then interviewing both individually 3) Then interviewing just one of them 4) Self analysis E.g., If we see a change, we can guess that Knee either adjusted or he actually studied Arslan intensively. Arslan's opinion will tell us which of the 2 options he felt during the fight. Then if you interview both at the same time, Knee will actually give the definitive answer. *Therefore, in general, assuming interviewees are honest, the least ideal is self-analysis, followed by interviewing one, then both individually, then both at the same time.* this was just to answer your question. not faulting you for it because you already said you never knew they had subsequent matches. anyway, hope this was insightful for you, and also explains to you why i feel asking the player is always better. Self-analysis can always be done, even after they have answered. Analysis is our only option when we cannot ask. Then if we can ask one of them, we can still do analysis to verify or find discrepancies to ask new questions. Finally, if we can ask both of them, they will correct each other and we can then analyze footage to verify. We can analyze at any stage, but it is always better to have the interview because the analysis is always our guess using old information/bias.

They’ve changed the way Tekken plays a lot. It doesn’t feel like Tekken when it comes to the neutral. You can barely sidestep in this game. You should be able to step in a 3D game which is why Knee still does, it just makes sense. But Arslan barely steps, it’s like he’s playing a 2D game.

@@Moruma ya becoz majority of pakistani players have been playing kings of fighters since child hood. if block + movement greatly reduces the need to side step. but still it has its advantages.

boa luvb playstyle is hard to read because he will just throw things out unlike knee which is very methodical, which is what arslan prepared for.

@@immortalpeacekeeper236 knee beats everyone with kazuya that boa loses to though, on a consistent basis. boa is good for short matches, and even then he requires luck. knee is consistent with kazuya. the most consistent i've seen so far. he also beats the other kazuya players on a regular basis as well. on top of that, knee's kazuya improved drastically since season 3.
